Great quality
Went to boot barn and they were more expensive there. They were cheaper on Amazon and the quality is exactly the same

Superior boots
Husband likes these. He’s on his second pair. They look good, and after the first few wears they are comfortable. Best of all, they last over a year of daily wearing, which beats a lot of other boots he’s had.

Had to exchange for wide - now they are great
Normally buy a “M” width, had to exchange for wide.After the exchange, boots are great. Very little break-in time. Compliments every time I wear them. I also do not usually go for colored stitching and that too gets plenty of compliments as well. Very happy with these boots.

These are a really good looking pair of boots
These are a really good looking pair of boots. My foot is between a regular and wide. I ordered a pair of ramblers in 11.5 Wide and now that they have broken in are just a touch too big. I ordered these in an 11.5 Regular. Initially I thought I would have to return them as they were very tight in my feet. I decided instead to stretch them with a technique I learned on youtube. I gently stretched them to speed up the break in period and they are now extremely comfortable. I wear them almost every day. The Ramblers are now my yard work/woodshop boot. (I may invest in a pair in 11.5 regular In the future because they are a handsome boot.)All in all, I am very happy with the boots. I recommended them to a friend and he purchased a pair of Ariats as his first western boot also.I would recommend going to a western shop and being properly fitted rather than going through a trial and error process. Luckily, amazon makes it very easy to return and exchange items.

WIDE and HIGH ARCH FEET
My feet have character...left foot almost half an inch shorter than right...right arch is high, left is super-high. I have really high arches and slightly wide feet, and usually wear a size 12 in most running/tennis shoes, mostly to compensate for wider feet since these types don't typically come in size EE. Most reviewers say to order a half size down from what you usually wear, and I agree. So ideally, I would have liked this shoe in an 11.5 EE, however, I do not think that size is made in this boot (I looked on a bunch of websites). So, I went with size 12EE, anticipating some wiggle room, and I went ahead and bought some SOLE brand shoe inserts that are moldable by heating in the oven. This worked out perfect. With the inserts, the shoe now fits comfortably, and it is a sexy as heck boot! If you're a first time boot buyer (wearer) like I am, be sure to get some boot socks as well to prevent chaffing of the calves. Also, got this on Prime, so it came as expected and free shipping to Hawaii is hard to come by, which is why I love Prime!

Very Nice Boot
Shaft is NARROW , I had to struggle to get my feet in , the leather will stretch but the stitching in the Achilles tendon area is NOT THE BEST I've seen ... the Instep area is solid though !Condition these with your favourite oils , I use Mink Oil on my Dress and Everyday shoes/boots , Dubbin on work wear . They should STRETCH nicely /Not fussy about the Vinyl piping either , usually signifies a Cheap Fabrication , the Heel and Sole are a rubber compound and necessary for Bike Riders , leather slips like glass on ice , when wet .Minor Complaints when the boot is in hand , reasonably WELL Constructed , Very Comfortable Fitting and Price Point should put a smile on your dial .For the $$$ these are Very Nice Boots ! Only TIME will tell , if they stand up to expectations .

Order 1/2 size smaller
I'm a size 9 and as other reviewers noted, ordered a 1/2 size smaller, therefore fit as expected given adjustment to sizing. These fit great. Oiled them with dubbin to help with break in and waterproofing. Also recommend having a boot jack to take them off after a day of being on your feet.Will update review after break in regarding if the quality matches expectation.Would've have given 5 stars, deducted 1 because the boots are made in China.

These boots are the real deal
The only problem I had with the boots, is getting my feet in them, because the leather is stiff, after using mink oil on them to soften the leather every thing else was smooth sailing, the only problem is that the mink oil changes the boots color
