It works/ Very, very slowly
Update May 2026: it’s working very very slowly. And they raised the price by $7.00. F- that. I’ll use Vicks VapoRub. Do not expect this to work or even show big improvements after just a week or two of use if you’ve had toenail fungus for months or years. I have had a couple brown toenails on each foot for over 10 years. The VA tried to treat it with a topical med. Didn’t work. I can’t take oral meds for it, and even if I could it still takes up to 6 months to show improvement, and longer to eliminate the fungus. It’s been a little over 3 weeks that I has used this, and I am starting to see improvement. Lucky for me, my nails grow very fast. I use this product 2 times a day. After I shower in the morning, and after at night. You need to use the applicator attached to the top of the bottle, and put a small amount under your nail, a small amount at the bed of the nail, where it grows out of your toe or finger, and wipe a small amount at both sides of the nail. It doesn’t need to be a large amount, just enough to wet the nail. Be consistent with the twice a day application. You can’t expect something you’ve had for months or years to be good in a few weeks. And change those filthy socks every day. UPDATE 6 Months Later: This stuff is awesome. I’ve had toenail fungus for over 10 years. I’ve tried everything prescribed by the VA. Except for the oral medication which is not safe for the liver. The toes with the fungus are half way healed. If it takes another 6 months for them to heal, I’m ok with that, after all I’ve had this fungus for over 10 years. You need to use it morning and night. I keep a nail brush in the shower along with a bottle of Soft Soap liquid soap, to put on the nail brush and scrub my toe nails. Works great, and makes them clean for after shower application of the product.

Totally discreet and gets the job done quickly!
Very easy to use and drys fairly quickly so you can get your socks and shoes back on and get back to you’re everyday life activities! My toenails were pretty bad with all these white marks on the nail surface! I would wear Polish a lot but when taken off it would expose these white blotches that were just getting bigger and bigger and traveling down the length of my toenail further and further! I started doing some research and found out this is a fungus! I remember when it first started happening about 2 years ago after I visited a new salon on a vacation I was taking when I went to key west Florida with a friend. It was the first time I took the Polish off from that visit that I seen these white blotches. This isn’t the most expensive product they sell to treat this fungus and it isn’t the cheapest but what really sold me to this product was the before and after pics people posted in the reviews looked really close to what was growing on my with my toenails so I thought I would give it a try and I’m so glad that I did! After receiving this product I started to get a little discouraged because of the length of time it said it was going to need to be applied for which is Month(s)! I knew it was going to be difficult because I’m so used to seeing my toes painted! It’s only been about 1 week of use both religiously applying morning and night completely saturating the nail surface cuticles and under the free edge of every toenail it’s already clearing up if not all the way cleared up! And to be honest my toenails were worse then the images in this review. I am really impressed. The scent of this product is almost non-existent! You can only really smell it when you put the bottle up to your nose and still it is very mild. Totally and completely discreet! It must have a conditioner in it too because my toenails look nourished afterwards not dry or cracking like some products with medicine in them might make it look. I am really impressed with this product and can now breathe a sigh of relief that this is no longer concerning to me! Definitely worth the $. I will continue to use it just to make sure it’s all cleared up but I don’t even mind my toes now being naked because they are looking so fresh and healthy now! I am so happy 😊

Works ... for the type of fungus that it kills!
Toenail fungus is just HARD to get rid of. You have to be diligent, and patient, and use more than one strategy at once. It gets very dug-in under a hard nail! I have 3 affected toes on one foot, 24 years. Pinkie first, middle toe followed a year or two later, then the 4th toe joined in a few years after that. All the rest of my toes are fine. I've tried vinegar soaks (yes helps), tea tree oil (yes helps), urea-style toenail thinner liquid (yes helps), coconut oil (not sure but messy so I stopped). After vinegar soaks, the nail softens; I take that opportunity to clip down the excess nail as far as I can. (The clippers I use on infected toes I NEVER use on clear toes, and vice versa. I soak the clippers I use on infected toes in vinegar, then let them dry.) Those are the backdrop strategies to my use of this product. I used this product for a full year, EVERY morning and night. I did vinegar soaks/clip-downs from time to time, to thin and roughen the nail surface, and to acidify the matrix periodically. At the end of the year, my 4th toe (the last to succumb) has grown out PERFECTLY and is a regular nail again! The other two on either side, not so much. I have them clipped down to almost nothing, but they still grow in at the cuticle already yellowish and thick. Conclusion: I think my 4th toe -- that has come in looking normal after using this product for a year -- had a kind of fungus that THIS product's undecyclenic acid could kill. I think the other 2 toes have a different kind of fungus that undecyclenic acid just doesn't touch, so it's not the fault of this product that it didn't work on them. I've now swapped to another liquid product that uses tolnaftate as its fungus-killer (putting it on all 3 toes to keep the clear 4th toe from being reinfected). Maybe that will be the right weapon for those toenails. I gave this product 4 stars because steady use of it over a year GENUINELY made a difference to the one toenail that it could help!

ok product but there is better options IMO
Not the permanent solution for me. I used this diligently as prescribed for 3 months. Fungus away, Yay! Stopped using and within a couple of months back to the old, ugly toes!!! Maybe you have to use it for many months after to be totally rid? Too much trouble. I have found a better alternative that is easier to use, dries way faster so I can put on my socks and hit the road in the mornings or pull the sheets over my toes at night and I am seeing results within weeks, not months. However, the new product does say to use for a few months after completely clear.

Slow, Inaffective Process, Wastes Time and Money. Plus Contradictory Guidance Too.
FUNGINIX, Maximum Strength, Review. BACKGROUND: I treated 2 fungus developments: a large toenail and a fingernail, two times daily. Nails were less than half destroyed at start. I started with one bottle, in late May 2024, since instructions say "BE PATIENT." So I bought 2-pack of bottles before my 1st bottle ran out in about 1 month later and after there was no visible signs of improvements. I also used a commerical foot soak (Tea Tree Oil, Epsom, etc. blend) for the first month prior to 2/3 of the applications; stopped because of the significantly added time and cost of foot soak additives. The GOOD: Funginix was relatively easy and quick to apply; but this is only if you do not do foot bath before applications, as . The foot baths take a lot of time and waists more money. The BAD: (1) On two nails, I used up almost 2-1/2 half 1oz bottles of FUNGINIX, in about 2-1/2 months. Costly. (2) Instructions were Conflicting: Written instructions provided in the shipment stress, "Consistency is Key" and "Be Patient" as "mild to medium infections may last 2-4 months and severe infections can take a full year." BUT contrary to these instructions, and each of the bottles' labels state, "Stop use and ask a Physician if irritation occurs or if theere is no improvement in 4 weeks." My guidance: "tippy-toe(less)" to a Pediatric Physician earlier than later.

Works
I had an issue with both my big toes. After 1 week I noticed that I was actually dealing with a little pain from the situation that I only realized when it went away. I used it daily for about 3 months and then switched to about 3x a week. I'm 12 months into an obvious 18month'ish repair. This stuff treats and kills the situation, the rest is up to your body to grow the unsightliness away.

It works. You just gotta be patient while the infected portion grows out.
I'm going to get right to the point for those looking for an instant cure (and to those who wrote a negative review expecting one). This ain't it because an instant cure doesn't exist. But this works. You just have to wait for the infected portion of the nail to grow out which takes about 6 months. You see, a toe nail is basically dead skin and no treatment can reverse a fungal infection of dead skin. It can only halt it while you wait for it to grow out. And a pro tip. Unless you've addressed the particular underlying cause of your fungal infection, you should plan to keep using this even after the infected nail has fully grown out habecause the infection will return again and you'll have to wait another 6 months for the subsequent infection to grow out. [ And no, I'm not gonna post a pic of my toenail. Cured or not, pics of people's toenails is fetish level nasty. So please stop y'all.]

Funginix Max Strength - 10% Undecylenic Acid
Purchased this to improve the discoloration on my two large toe nails. Bought this in particular because the products I had been using only had the 1% Tolnaftate which didn't seem to be doing much good. The new product with the 10% Undecylenic Acid doesn't seem to be doing much better. I faithfully use this in the AM and the PM and apply an ample amount. I've been to a podiatrist and was advised it takes a long time to correct the problem but I've been using various applications for years. I'd like something that REALLY WORKS.

Finally, something that really works.
I had fungus on one big toe for years! I tried everything…that didn’t work. When I noticed it in my thumbnails, I freaked out. I found this on Amazon and read the reviews. In 4 days, I could see a difference. My thumbs were not so bad so I’m sure it acted faster. I’m sure that this will get rid of it completely. DO WHAT THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY! Push the cuticles back with a finger. You don’t need a tool. I use a Qtip instead of the brush. I don’t re dip into the bottle. Drop onto the Qtip from the brush or change Qtip. Use both ends. Push the fluid gently ito the cuticle and we’ll under the nails. Be sure that your nails are very short so that you can get the fluid in there. Wait about 3 minutes after they’re all done and wash it off. Don’t paint the nails.
