81316 Acrylic XF16 Flat Aluminum 3/4 oz

Needed this color for the exterior of my latest SNCASO SO.6000 Triton, France's first turbojet aircraft of WWII. Started in secret in 1943, the Triton exterior was completed in 1945, but the engine, a Rateau-Anxionnaz GTS-65, lagged, so it was later decided to use a Junkers 004 to power this jet for the first flight in 1946. Tamiya paints are acrylic (water-based), dry within an hour, have a smooth coat, stand up to masking, cleanup with water, and accept dull coats readily. Highly recommended!

Perfect for my gunpla kits! Been looking everywhere for this particular color and so glad I was able to find. Perfectly packaged and reasonably priced. And the seller is from my state. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Needed this specific color and Tamiya does it better.

I bought this paint to add a little grey to my E-Flite MIG-15 as trim. It looks very nice for this. I also used this on my carbon to touch up a grey area on the bottom of the fuse. The paint matches perfectly so this is also a great paint to use to touch up the UMX Carbon Cub.

Tamiya makes the best metallic acrylic paint on the market, no question. This was a great example of that. Perfect for mixing with, and giving other colors a metallic sheen. Highly recommended for any hobbyist.

Arrived on time and in good shape. Paint went on good and has held up well.

What can you say? Went on nice and looked good when dry.
