Good book.
Great read. Read to my students as a bible extension to being a missionary. They loved it and couldn't wait to finish it. Be prepared explain what spirits mean and other cultures beliefs.

Great missionary story for early readers
We got this on kindle to go along with our Bible lessons for homeschool. The whole family enjoyed the book and kept wanting to read ahead to know what happened next. It was written on a level my 2nd grader could read on her own, and caught the attention of both my 5 yr old and the adults. I'd love to see this story done with more visuals so you could share it in a children's church type setting.

Simple and wonderful
About simple faith, simple confrontation with evil spirits, and God's faithfulness to those who have faith in He Who is faithful. Told from the child's perspective, but as an adult it is very easy to see how much courage it took for his father to take the stand he did, and how God had to supernaturally work. Also a refreshing reminder of how much the simple faith of a parent impacts the eternal life of a child. The child does not become a believer because he is convinced by the Bible. That's how the father became a believer. The boy is convinced that the Bible is true because he sees his father stand on it and sees God back him up.

Easy and interesting reading
Emerging and reluctant readers will enjoy this book based on a true story. Written in an interesting way, using few vocabulary words, it shows what a wonderful thing it is to believe the true God.

Nice book
Fun book, nice story, easy enough read to be read slowly by a level 2 reader child, but probably a level 3 read alone.
