Condensation is gone!
Condensation is gone! You can see what we were dealing with in all our rooms. All of this is gone! Pulled the skirting and applied 3 coats, recommended is 2 but I did 3 just in case. No more condensation, no more moulding, no more dehumidifier on all day and indeed the wall is warmer to touch. We did all our external wall corners and even behind wardrobes. It's a significant job to do all that but it is definitely worth it! As other people have said it is thick, like toothpaste, and the finish is indeed rough. But I am fine with that. It says light sanding is allowed but I never bothered with that. As long as the black mouldy patches and the disgusting smell is gone I'm fine with a rough finish. Only thing is, it's expensive. But again, would you rather have mould and mouldy smell? I'm thinking of doing the same around the windows as we have a slight mould and condensation problem there too. But this might have to wait for the summer.

Covers well.
I used this on a bathroom ceiling which had got a bit black and nasty in a few places. After working over with a stiff brush to remove any loose stuff, this paint went on nicely and covered well - but take the coverage claims with a pinch of salt. I used a brush rather than a roller, as the ceiling was artexed, and 2.5 litres was just enough to do the one room with one good coat - roll it out any thinner and it won't cover as well. I don't know about the anti-damp properties, but glass bead loaded paint does work well for blocking osmosis on boat hulls. To test the thermal insulation claims I painted a square foot of the white emulsioned hall wall with it, and then used an infra-red thermometer to compare the temp in the centre of the patch with that of the surrounding wall - no measurable difference.

Excellent stuff
I bought this for a patch in shed roof but used full tub on door frame and outsides of door... No night sweats on wood now... Keeps things dry so this is my new replacement. I love the feel of it also when its dried. Quality nice and thick. Easy to apply. Goes a long way. Definitely worth having around. Between this and liquid roofing my shed outlast me lol

It works!
I’ve been suffering terrible mould and condensation in my caravan. I decided to try this and do a test. I painted a large patch of the ceiling with it after cleaning every bit. It isn’t the best to paint on and doesn’t cover wonderfully looking quite patchy with brush marks even though I used a quality brush. It feels chalky and took some time to dry fully. After a week I was back in the caravan and I found the unpainted surface had mould starting already as the condensation had clung again especially if you have the kettle going. I’ve had a leak drying out so have a lot of moisture in the air at the moment. The painted surface was completely free of any condensation and mould. It can be over painted or papered over so I’m going to see how it looks over painted and if it works as well. I’ll definitely be painting everything with this stuff!

Works like Magic!
I applied this paint to the inside of my van in December 2024 to try & combat the extreme condensation. I'm still stunned by how effective it is. It just works! I didn't know if it would stick to vehicle paint or if it would be flexible enough to bend with the panels - but it seems fine on both fronts. It has stayed in place and still works as well as it did a year ago. A friend has used this on the inside of a shipping container he uses as a shed for storage - and it's similarly impressive. It no longer rains on the inside! No more rusty tools and it's even marginally cooler in the summer & warmer in the winter.

Horrid to paint on
Firstly, this gets 3 stars, because it does warm our wall. However, it is awful to paint on and leaves a pretty horrid looking finish. As I understand it, painting on top of the dryzone coats would diminish function. Fine for our infrequently used loft room, but we wouldn't use it elsewhere due to the finish. The paint does not go far either, so it's rather costly.

Time will tell
Just cleaned up the mouldy patch and applied - I won't know the real effect of this product until next winter. If this works as promised, it's well worth the price for not having to deal with the mould again but I cannot tell right now, hence 4 star for now. Very thick consistency means it doesn't spread as easily and not a smooth finish (surface) as many reviewers mentioned so I am thinking of giving it an extra coat with regular paint for a smoother/even finish. I used mostly a brush then a small roller. A regular size roller would soak up a lot of paint (and a litre is not a lot) and I did not want to waste it but roller does give it a better looking/even finish because of consistency of the paint.
