Great duct
This 4-inch aluminum foil ducting is extremely well made and far sturdier than I expected. The aluminum layering feels thick and reinforced, not cheap or flimsy, and it holds its shape perfectly once installed. I really like the black outer layer—it looks clean, professional, and helps with light control compared to standard silver ducting. The hose is flexible enough to route easily, yet strong enough that it doesn’t collapse or kink. The 8-foot length was perfect for my setup, and the included clamps fit snug and secure with no air leaks. Overall, this is a high-quality, heavy-duty vent hose that feels reliable and built to last. Great for HVAC, dryer vents, or exhaust fan systems. I would absolutely buy this again and recommend it to anyone looking for durable, trustworthy ducting.

Great price good material works for me
My portable ac unit vent broke so I bought this one and it works create. See picture. Material seems to be of good quality. it has clams to clamp both ends. Looks great with black color. Very easy to install, just open up and pull everything comes out. Light weight and it woes as expected. Just tighten the clamps at both ends nicely.

Effective Ventilation Ducting Solution for Home Projects
In my recent DIY ventures, the VIVOSUN 6 Inch 8 Feet Non-insulated Flex Air Aluminum Ducting for Ventilation has proven to be an essential component. What impressed me most about this ducting is its flexibility and durability. It's remarkably easy to maneuver into tight spaces, making it ideal for routing air from my ventilation system without any kinks or bends that could impede airflow. The non-insulated design is perfect for my needs, ensuring efficient airflow without unnecessary bulk. The inclusion of two stainless steel clamps was a thoughtful addition. They provide a secure and tight fit, ensuring that the ducting stays in place once installed. This feature not only enhances safety but also reduces the risk of air leaks, which can compromise the effectiveness of the ventilation system. One aspect to note is that the ducting material is quite thin, which may require careful handling during installation to avoid tears or punctures. However, with proper care, this hasn't posed a significant issue in my projects. Overall, the VIVOSUN 6 Inch 8 Feet Non-insulated Flex Air Aluminum Ducting for Ventilation is an excellent choice for DIY enthusiasts looking to improve airflow in their homes. Its flexibility, durability, and secure clamping mechanism make it a reliable solution for various ventilation applications.

Quality air duct, easy to install
I got two of these air ducts for my basement ventilation. My house has no Radon mitigation system, so I want to use a simple way to ventilate the basement. A window fan blows air out at one basement window, and fresh air comes in from another window. But the windows are too close to each other, so I have to use air ducts to let the fresh air to travel about 40ft to the other side of the basement so that the whole space is sufficiently ventilated. I connected two ducts to reach the length. I used hanging straps to hang the duct to the ceiling wood so it's out of way. Now the radon detector shows the level fluctuates between 4 to 9 in the basement. Before ventilation, it reached 20 to 50! The living spaces upstairs has radon levels ranging from 0.2 to 1.0 most times, well below the 4.0 threshold. The side effects of the diy ventilation method is the lower basement temperature in winter (around 50 F) and higher humidity in summer (I run a dehumidifier in basement anyway, only that the electricity use is up). Back to the ducts, they are flexible, easy to expand and shrink in length, easy to install, the aluminum foil is thick. The price is reasonable.

Deceptive picture
While the vent hose itself is good quality and works well, my order did not include the retaining rings shown in the picture of the item. I did not complain to the vendor but probably should have.
