If you like Saran Wrap, you'll love this.
This was my first purchase of this product. I chose it for two reasons. It is a much better value than the Saran Wrap, that I have been faithful to for several decades, and the customer reviews. I was not disappointed. But I was surprised! Curiosity got the best of me so I decided to go ahead and open a box. I read the destructions on how to set it up and then saw a little note on the box "Slider cutter inside roll". Ohhhh, I've always wondered if those were as cool as they looked. After a little wrastlin', akin to putting a cat in a wash tub, I got it mounted on the box and gave it a whirl. It cut like a dream. Steaks were on sale today so I ran to town and picked up about 16 lbs of ribeye. I always wrap my steaks individually in cling wrap before putting them in a Ziploc and then into the freezer. The way the wrap just pulled out, layed flat and cut so easily, made for much faster work than fighting that box of Saran Wrap. And no tangled plastic either. I wrapped 24 steaks pretty quickly, nice and air tight. It sealed exceptionally well to itself and was easy to handle. I'll definitely be buying more when I use up these two rolls. I'd call the material a medium weight wrap, very similar to Saran Wrap, only without the attitude. Maybe just a tad thicker. Sorry, no photo. It's already put up in the top of the cupboard and I'm not going to climb up there and drag it down for a photo opportunity..

SAVES MONEY: 1 Roll last nearly a YEAR
(Scroll all the way day for an easy way to reheat rice back to the fresh made state.) You WILL save money and frustration using better wrap. My sister once told me that this is โso expenseโ and that she buys hers from the dollar store. I laughed, because sheโs forever complaining about the wrap she uses, and sheโs definitely not paying less in the long run. Iโll address some of her many complains on her brand below. But hereโs what I love about this wrap. The box: The lid makes this easy to pull out. I never have to find a torn end thatโs disappeared into the roll. But also, there is a child safe blade on these. When you open the box, you pull the plastic box strip from the center and slide it onto the box. The blade is attached on that strip and just slides back and forth for ease of use. Also, the box is not much bigger than your average dollar store box so this fits nicely under my counter. Because the box weights more, and is better made, it never tears and I can wrap things without ever having to pick up the box. Just pull the wrap right over the dish, slide the blade, and go. One 750 ft roll of Kirkland lasts me nearly a year; I ordered my last 2-pack in March 2022 and ran out in early January of 2024. Here are some issues she has with dollar tree wrap: *The role is WAY smaller, so she buys it way more often. *She has scratched herself on the lame blade thatโs attached to the box. *Not only a small roll, but she has to use a LOT MORE product. *She is always complaining about how frustrating it is to use her wrap, it will tear or get tangled, then she has to find the beginning and wastes product every time this happens, *She often has to use a second layer due to holes, or to make it more sturdy for travel or for meat and often goes all the way around the dish because she canโt get a seal. *It doesnโt work well in the micro, melts easily. *Can be tricky to get the right suction on the thing youโre covering. *Itโs easy to accidentally poke holes into it while trying to wrap stuff. *The last bit of ANY wrap left on the role of any brand is always a little wonky, so the more often youโre replacing the roll, the more often youโre wasting that last bit of product from the end of the roll. There is a saying, โPenny wise, pound foolish.โ It means you are paying less for something in the moment but spending WAY more for the item then you needed to if youโd spent a little more for a better version. TIP TO REHEAT RICE This wrap is perfect for reheating rice from the refrigerator but I also FREEZE leftover rice, then just thaw it and use this method. Easyโฆonce you use this a couple times, you never need directions again. 1. Put rice in a GLASS bowl. 2. Add just a teaspoon of water. 3. Cover so edges of bowl are sealed. 4. Microwave until the wrap forms that stretchy bubble top from the steam and the bottom of the bowl is hot. For me thatโs 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. 5. Let set for 5 minutes or so, donโt touch the cover. It set for 10-15 minutes. 6. Carefully remove the wrap. Your rice will look terrible, all smashed down. 7. JUST STIR IT, preferably with a fork, and itโs as good as fresh made. The water and steam reconstitute that little bit of dryness that happens.

The razor cutter was very nice.
These last forever, stick well, and the razor cutter is a lot nicer than I was expecting.

Best plastic wrap ever!
Love Kirkland plastic wrap. Itโs a shame they no longer carry in their warehouse. I lucked out and found these on Amazon.

Great purchase, just reinforce
We love this product, and when we quit our Costco membership were sad to not have this product. We were very pleased to see it Amazon. Protip: you should wrap duct tape around the box after assembling, to reinforce the sides, it will need it. I use blue non glossy tape and completely cover ever exposed part of the box, and then decorate it. That serves two purposes: reinforcement and aesthetics, since this will be sitting out on the counter for a year.
