HelixOxford Fountain Pen - Stainless Steel - Medium Nib - Purple Barrel - Single

These are really great pens. Mine writes first time every time even after being left for a few days and the ink flow is consistent. The price is remarkable for the quality. If you want a fountain pen that is reliable and aren't interested in buying a 'luxury' one then you really can't wrong with one of these.

This pen is heavy, sturdy and the lid pops on and off without eventually cracking, which is a known problem with fountain pens.The other problem fountain pens have is that they are hard to open and close, resulting in accidents that you have to clean up.This does not have this problem.It writes smoothly and the flow is perfect. For a fiver, you get the quality of a very expensive pen.And it looks good too, it's the real deal.I never expected I'd say these things for such a modestly priced pen, I've paid a lot more for disappointments in the past.I've been let down even by the likes of Pelikan and Rotring. Get one before they figure it out and put the price up.

This is a really smooth and efficient pen to write with. After 3/4 weeks was leaking abit though. If you put the lid on the end too far the lid can loose the mechanism. Great pen for a while.

I do love design and colour. I dont like how heavy it is, and its not so good to write , as scratching paper at time, seems that ink not pas so easily to end of nib.

A really lovely fountain pen and good value for money. Seriously thinking about investing in more colours!
