Saved myself $800!
The OE handle in my 2011 C300 broke and I blindly assumed that my guy could fix it for not a lot of money. When I brought it into my guy, he said "you're never going to believe this..." and proceeded to show me how a OE Mercedes door handle is part of the door card and not a separate piece. WTF?!?! The door card plus installation was going to be in excess of $800. I did a little snooping around the ol' internet and found a couple of videos on a little-known site called YouTube where you basically dissect the door card and replace the OE doorhandle with an aftermarket one. It's a gigantic pain in the butt the first time, but I'm going to get 3 more of these so ALL the door handles in my car will be alloy instead of plastic. It took about an hour and a half and only required a Dremel tool, screwdriver, and some plastic levers to get the door card off. I figure I'll be able to do the rest of the doors in about 45 min each.

Perfect fit. Not the right color.
This was exactly what I needed to repair my customers door handle. The color was more of a silver rather than the OEM chrome color. It was a perfect fit and simple to change once I was able to get to the handle. The hardest and most time consuming part of this was cutting the plastic tabs that are melted together to hold the door pieces together. Watch a youtube video to get an idea of the job. This kit works and fits well.

Worth the purchase
I bought this in conjunction with another set that contained the tools. Both came to about $120 total. The handle seems a little bit thicker than the original but no one else will notice this is a replacement handle other than the person that put it on. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this product.

Thank you making this product. I was able to work this kit with this kit for 2013 Mercedes Benz C300 .FYI: This job is NOT at all, how easy it looks like in the video on youtube.You do need: Drill with good cutter disk (this is main one).ThanksJeet

Do not buy it , do not fit c300 2008
I have to modify it , take out inside corner which make it very week in order to fit do not buy it cheap design

Dealership wanted $1200 to fix the door handle and I did it myself in 45 minutes with this product don’t get ripped off by Mercedes-Benz do it yourself it’s easy just go to YouTube and look at the videos on how to do it
