Perfect fit, good instructions, and the tools to install. Hard to rate quality and battery life, haven't tested it. Seemed to perform as well as the original during the "seasoning" of the battery... Charge fully, discharge fully... 3x's... You can see from the picture the old battery was no longer any good; everything matched and fit perfectly. The other pictures show the location of the battery and how it drops into place. If you're questioning your technical skills, give it a try anyway... just have the local 12 year old on standby in case you have trouble. If your closeup vision isn't very good and bright light doesn't help, you probably want to have someone else do this, those little screws on the bottom of the laptop are the hardest part of this process. Fear not... but use a white towel and good lighting and you'll be fine... The hardest part about changing the battery on the HP laptop was not losing the tiny screws. Recommend placing the laptop on a white or solid light colored towel so you don't scratch the case and if the screws fall out of the bottom you'll find them easily. There's no reason why anyone could not replace this battery themselves. The instructions are clear and the tools will work fine, just do NOT overtighten or force them. The tools seem to be intended to be used once or twice. There is no real danger of damaging your laptop, just don't fiddle with things you don't understand when you're in there. Excellent value for the battery. When my other HP needs a battery I'll be buying this product again.

Flawless Installation. Product installed and worked immediately. No issues with installation. Excellent directions. Very satisfied. Extended the life of my hp EliteBook for pennies on the dollar over OEM part. At this price and ease of install, even if the battery only lasts several months, it is still value for the coinage. It will be interesting to see what the actual product Longevity will turn out to be down the road. - Happy Camper

The capacity of my battery was 46.74Wh, which slightly exceeds the specs on the original HP battery. The current max is 100%, so it's brand new. My experience with third party batteries is that they often fall short of the original specs, but this one was the real deal.

Battery a perfect fit replacement. Once I placed it in it started at 40% and quickly charged after that. Regarding tool kit, would have preferred they included a tiny flat head screwdriver as the HP laptops require rubber screw protectors to be removed to access the screws. But otherwise no issues.

Worked as expected and has a great value for the money I paid. I hope it lasts at least a few years, but the quality feels like a premium product. It was easy to install.

This battery identifies itself to the OS as a 46.7 Wh battery ("Energy (design)") even though it very clearly says 48 Wh on the battery itself. Other batteries that I have bought identify themselves correctly, meaning that Whrs on the label match those the battery reports to the OS. Also the manufacturing date is over a year old... so i guess it's been sitting on the shelf for a while. I'm not planning on returning it as 46.7 Wh is close enough to 48 Wh but I do wish that the advertised capacity would match what is reported to the OS. Installation was a breeze and... it comes with it's own screws so I didn't have to remove them from the old battery as I have to do with some other batteries.
