This shampoo powder is a pure and traditional product, just like our grandmothers would make 50 years ago. It is a fine blend of herbs that are known to impart nourishment to hair and scalp. The powder is very fine, like talc. I used day-old sour curd (mixed with water to make buttermilk) to make shampoo each time I used this. Scent- not great as NO additional/artificial element scent or fragrance is added. This is actually a plus point. Texture/feel - like a brownish paste, like a thick brown shampoo liquid. Wash experience - Must close eyes as No artificial tear-free chemicals are added. Natural pure Reetha and Shikakai sting the eyes, so protect your eyes! This product does Not make Any lather/foam so that needs getting used to. One just needs to rub the prepared liquid into wet scalp/hair, leave for 20 seconds, then wash off. This is quite a different experience from the regular chemical fragrant foamy shampoos that we have gotten used to, but the change is worth it for good, long-term hair health. After wash experience - Hair is squeaky clean, even applied heavy thick oil is washed off! Hair also feels light and soft. There is definitely some dryness but that is to be expected because of Reetha. No artificial conditioner is added. Dryness can be taken care of later by light oil or serum. Also, my hair is naturally curly/dry, and we hard salty tap water, so dryness could just be for me. Overall - great and recommended for improving hair health, for hair issues such as dandruff, thinning, falling, etc. Mix with liquid of your choice (water boiled with curry/bitter neem leaves/buttermilk) and use regularly! Can be used alternately with regular shampoo or complete replace!

Growing up, I had silky hair. However, with the use of shampoos available in the market, my hair started becoming frizzy. I tried everything—hair spas, different brands of shampoo, shampoo bars, Forest Essentials, and more! In my search for something more natural, I looked for shampoos that probably existed before liquid shampoos became common. That's when I bumped into this product and decided to give it a try. For the first two washes, I didn’t use any oil on my hair. Then, I tried it again after applying sesame oil (following the washing instructions provided on the packaging). I was amazed! It removed the oil effectively and left my hair looking dense and full, with no trace of frizz! I am not aware if any other brand gives the same result, but this one worked for me. So, I highly recommend giving this shampoo a try if you're looking for a chemical-free option that is both humble and perfect...!!

Using this twice. Getting nice hair but not silky and so smooth frizy hair as shown in video. No doubt its a natural product but not that satisfied. Its clean oily scalf and i observe that there is one ingridient other then Shikaki which give like shampoo type bubbles. Because i used shikakai for so long and very well know about that. But finally okiesh and better then camical based shampoo.

Mind blowing!! Much better product than all the chemical loaded shampoo in the market. Being gifted with combination scalp, I was at my wit's end to find a suitable shampoo. And then i got what i was looking for. No conditioner required for me, as it leaves hair soft, smooth & shining. Easy to use as it have to soaked for 15-20mins before applying.

One of The worst ayurvedic shampoo I have ever used, i use this shampoo about 5 months at first 2 months it was doing quite good, after 2 months the Hair is becoming more dry and ruff and also I started scalp itching and dandruff from this i have forced to clean shave my hair for the first time in my life, i never faced dandruff problem before but after using this shampoo started all hair problems and also i facing extream hair breakge. I suggest you please don't buy this product worst product

i am from India and well aware of the benefits of these ingredients. my mother use to make it at home when i was a kid. currenlty, i am staying in japan and facing hair loss. after a single wash i could notice less hairfall and it also provide good conditioning.

Absolute natural smell. After, I used this shampoo, I felt fresh and my hair looks shiny. It completely helps to fight with dandruff.
