Loved the first book in this series and I love this one even more!Between the scorching hot cover, the Shar-Pei puppy and Jaces absolutely amazing personality I'm almost as in love with him as everyone else in the book. Jace alone would get 10 stars if possible and combined with Dax he's even better.Couldn't put the book down and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes fire fighters, almost first time gay thrope, love that sneaks up in the shadows of hot chemistry and main characters that are amazing.There's also a little bit of Beau and Ash from the first book in it!

Who knew a shirtless photo of him carrying the dog would turn his world upside down? That he’d become an instant celebrity?I loved Jace’s earnestness. There are people in the world who are selfless and enjoy doing things for other people without expectation of return. While Dax is transactional, Jace is generous. He’s also straight – or so he believes. He’s only ever dated women and it’s only upon meeting Dax that he realizes he might have been missing out. Jace’s coming out process isn’t as painful as it is for some people, but there are still a few hiccups. Being in the spotlight is not somewhere he’s comfortable being but it’s all for a good cause so he steps up to the plate.I enjoyed the men’s interactions and I felt they went well together. I also liked how their individual relationships with their mothers were so important to the story. Sometimes parents are only on the sidelines and in this case these women helped shape who the men find themselves being today – whether for good or for bad. I also liked how all of the characters grew as they learned more about themselves.As for the narration…? Michael Pauley is, as always, perfect. He can move seamlessly between the different male characters to the women without missing a beat. His performances are always enjoyable and this one was no exception. This was a fun read and I liked going back to Fever Falls for the second time and I can’t wait for future books.

This is the fascinating story of Jace and Dax. Jace is a hometown hottie who has a picture of himself go viral overnight. Dax is a Hollywood PR who has a client who wants Jace. Their first meeting is what set the tone of the whole story. Sexy, meets sexier and they both go up in flames. Fun, witty, sexy and two men who have nothing in common have a globe trotting adventure. Nobody can paint a picture like DEVON MCCORMACK. Throw together a hot fire fighter and a sexy as sin Hollywood promoter and you have a triple three alarm fantastic adventure. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS AMAZING NEW SERIES!!!!!

Sweet, hot, humour, great characters, mixed in with a lot of heart - my favourite kind of book to read.How Dax and Jace’s chemistry came off the page was perfect. And the way their relationship evolved through the book was gorgeous (& steamy).Loved the secondary characters too, they added a great dimension to the story.Also seeing Riley Hart’s MCs from “Burned Up” participate was great. I’m looking forward to more of this collaborative series and getting a few more glimpses of Dax and Jace.

First, that cover is fcking fire 🔥The story in McCormack's turn was also great. This series is looking awesome ^^I love Jace, his mind is brilliant and how he takes life as it comes is amazing to me. I hope there're people like him IRL cause we need lots of those!I love firefighters and I love a good GFY spin on things. What a fantastic read! I absolutely loved Jace and Dax’s story. Theirs is the second book set in Fever Falls, and it was super hot and sexy. The chemistry between them just jumped off the page and holy hotness with the sexy times! I love a first time gay story, and this author really knows how to write one! This book has everything you need: Hottie Firefighter, romance, laughs, an annoying Mom, Magnums and a cute Shar Pei.
