So this fake fur throw can not be washed?

So, the fur was beautiful, but I wanted to put it in the dryer to kill off anything that may have been on it from mailing it, until I could wash it, and it singed the fur, so I never got to wash it because I ruined it!! I didn't read that it couldn't be washed? Sorry I can't answer. I will buy another one though, so I'll read the details next time.
