My little petite 10 year old daughter unfortunately has to start shaving her legs. Would this be a good one for her to use?

Yes! Just received it last week, and my daughter took right to it, after a short mansplaining of how to use it. ;) Think of it as 2 different razors in one. First strokes keep it angled inward more so that it cuts long hairs with the front flat blade. Then set it normally against the skin to get smaller hairs with the 2 rounded blades. Go against the grain of the hairs, for best effect.

is this for underarms too?

This can but you may want to do a small test patch to make sure that you do not get irritation since this is a more sensitive area.

Can this shaver be used on your face?

Yes, and it does a very good job!

Can the almond oil strip be removed from the shaver if you don't want to use it?

This is not meant to be removed.
