My grandbabies love this book. They are just the right size for little hands. They love dinosaurs so that is a plus. The pages are thick and durable. You can also wipe them off and not mess up the pages from those sticky baby fingers. Only issue and it's not a biggy just a tiny bit heavy for little ones to carry, but that is what makes them do durable so that is fine. My granddaughter loves reading this book on the potty.

Super cute I was disappointed though I thought it saying and it doesn't but you have to sit and read it to them very well illustrated but no music

This is a great little book to help with potty training efforts. I started reading this book to my daughter a couple months before starting potty training (at around 22 months), just to introduce the concept. Then, we would read the book when she sat on the potty. She memorized the lines and always had fun with it. We took a slow, gradual approach to potty training (i.e., did not do the 3-day weekend training) because we wanted to minimize stress and follow her pace. She has been fully potty-trained (daytime and nighttime since 2.5 years). I researched a lot of the potty books on the market and I would say that this is by far my favorite - it most closely follows the steps in using the potty and does not have a bunch of distractions like other books with well-known characters (e.g., Sesame Street; Cocomelon).

I bought this book on my 5th attempt at restarting potty training with my 2.5 year old. I prepped with potty training books and toys and it worked. This was one of the books I bought which my son loved to read. We only read it at bedtime a few weeks before we did the restart to get him excited about the potty. The rhyming is good. He still loves to read it to this day. My only complaint is the first and 2nd to the last page of the book can be confusing for kids and you will have to explain it each time you read it. Page 1 and 2 reads: “Once I was a little dino. I couldn’t even roar. I wore a dino diaper. That’s not me anymore.” (What do you mean that’s not you?) I think my kid didn’t understand that line until he was done with potty training. Especially when the 2nd to the last page showed other dinos in diapers, that was even more confusing. Maybe the dino could’ve said that used to be him instead of “that’s not me anymore”. Overall, I do recommend this book because it helped with potty training and son loves it. It’s just the first and 2nd to the last page about being Dinos in diapers could be written in a way for 2 and under to understand and the parent won’t have to explain each time.

Very cute book, my toddler likes reading it. Unfortunately, it did not lead to him being potty rained, but I guess I can't blame a book for that.

LOVE this book! Both of my children enjoyed this book during the potty training process and before potty training! I purchased another book because our first one wore down from frequent use! 110% recommend!

Great book for dinosaur loving toddlers trying to potty train.

This was a game changer for my 2 year old who started having wee accidents after a long time of doing good potty. He was obsessed with dinos at the time and was very motivated by the book. Found the story appropriate and encouraging for my little one. I would add examples during the story to relate to what my toddler would be doing in the day (i.e Dino might be playing toys, or at papa and nans, at the park, ect)

I bought Dino Potty back in April 2025, and it has truly become a staple in our potty-training routine. My 2-year-old is still using it, and honestly, this book has made the whole process so much easier and more fun. The colorful illustrations and friendly dinosaur instantly grabbed my toddler’s attention. It’s helped build confidence and turn potty time into something positive instead of stressful. The book is sturdy, bright, and engaging—perfect for tiny hands. I’ve noticed real progress since we started using it, and I love that my toddler still enjoys it months later. Highly recommend this for any parent starting potty training. Definitely worth it!
