Café Brew 5 Cup Reusable Basket Coffee Filter, BPA-Free, Permanent

I bought this to use in a five cup Mr. Coffee Maker. It does work very well. I made 5 cups of coffee. It brewed right away after you turned it on. The basket was thick and fit exactly into the coffee maker. It did not leave any grounds in the coffee. I used my favorite coffee. The coffee tasted very good. The maker and basket are very simple to use. Added: I read that you might want to use the filters inside this basket. Since I have about 200 paper filters, I probably will try that.

I bought this for my hubbys little coffee maker. He has a Mr. Coffee and this fits his maker perfectly. It saving money for us so we don't have to buy him paper filters, the mesh and material is really well made, it's easy to empty the grounds and clean. He likes it a lot.

Works great. i used this to filter my orange zest tincture and my dragon fruit tincture. For the dragon fruit tincture, you have to pour a little in. then clean filter and repeat. the filter is very fine. Cleans easily

I don't drink coffee & my friend's were going to visit so I bought a Mr Coffee 4-5 cup mini brew. I decided to make cleaning up easier so bought the reusable filter.

I would rate this a solid 3.7. It does its job, holds coffee beans well without any pieces getting through. It fits perfectly in my Hamilton Beach 5 cup coffee machine. The coffee never tastes odd or metallic, it makes normal/expected coffee and is well worth investing in. Now for the cons, there are a few. Firstly, the handle is very flimsy and one side of it came unattached when I first opened it. Seemed like a no biggie as it is easy to pop it back in, but it is just as easy for it to de-attach… it is getting annoying to reattach every-time I want to pick it up. Secondly, while you can easily wash it it off with water to get out the murky grinds, over a period of time, some of the ultra fine grind stays on it, and over the course of 2 weeks, I’ve attached a photo of what has accumulated. Might need to invest in a toothbrush or something to deep clean it monthly. I did notice that the rims that hold the metal filter together is plastic, but fortunately I haven’t had any issues with that so far besides the plastic handle… please fix that.

I got some hot chocolate that asked only a gold reusable basket be used for brewing their product, and not paper filters. So I got it, and it seems to work fine for that. I have no complaints. I would buy it again if needed. I have a small regular Mr. Coffee compact coffee brewer, for up to 5 cups. I’ve tried several other regular, simple brewing machines and I’ve been most satisfied with the reasonable price and durability of this coffee maker. All the others have broken quite quickly for some reason, even the more expensive and larger ones, but this one seems well made and dependable. So I recommend that too.

Got this for my small coffee maker so I didn't have to use paper filters. This works great! Can reuse over and over. Good quality for the money.

The newer version of the Mr. Coffee 5-cup coffeemaker includes a swing-arm that rotates over the filter area. I'm finding that all of my paper filters (from my older 4-cup Mr. Coffee) are all a bit too tall, and the swing-arm catches on the paper filter and folds it over when brewing. Not good. So I was hoping this reusable filter would fit nicely in this particular coffeemaker. I wasn't sure from the reviews since there are so many different versions of the Mr. Coffee. I'm happy to say it fits perfectly and does not interfere with the swing-arm. In addition, the little handle that lifts up really helps remove the filter when the time comes. Cleans up easily. Pro: Filters much more quickly than the paper filter. Con: If you have some very fine coffee in your grind, some might get through. It's so fine that it does not bother my brew at all, just thought I'd mention it. Very happy with this reusable filter - recommended.

Fits the Mr coffee machine perfectly

Hace meses compré la versión pequeña de este filtro y fue una buenísima inversión. Adquirí esta por ser de tamaño más grande y poder utilizarlo para filtrar otros productos; a pesar de cumplir su función satisfactoriamente, no se compara con la versión pequeña. Aun así, estoy satisfecho.

Uses little more coffee grounds than you would for a paper filter - other than that, the filter works splendidly!
