Brilliant, always wanted this one

These new 2020 sets far out-shine the earlier sets with their 2 stud wider design allowing for a more realistic scale and look. The builds are complex and satisfying, with lots of techniques that make you smile as you understand what they're adding to the build.

It seems odd for me to say this, but I haven't bought a new Lego set in over a year. I've got hundreds of Star Wars and Creator sets dotted about the house, but I'd fallen a little bit out of love of late. Expensive and quite repetitive, certainly in the Star Wars line. However, this Group B Audi Quattro S1 brought me right back in a heartbeat. It's wonderful. I really enjoyed building it, and the angular lines of Lego lend themselves to a boxy 1980's car such as this. It was relatively modestly priced too. My only grip is a common one with the Speed series, and that's that there are a lot of stickers to apply. I'd implore Lego to add a few more Group B rally cars to their Speed series. I'd love to line my Audi up alongside a MG Metro 6R4, Peugeot 205 T16, Lancia Delta S4 and a Ford RS200. Go on Lego, you know you want to.

One of the new 2020 issue Lego Speed Champions sets; set 76897 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1. Nice build, got this one as it became available next day on Prime (rather than wait 1 to 3 weeks when it was first released). Lego build quality is great, everything fits perfect & it looks nice when it's built. It looks similar to the picture of the real car on the box, but missing some of the details from the real car, that Lego could have have included in the form of more stickers.

Having recently become addicted to lego (It started with microfighters but now moved on to bigger kits) I took the bait on this when the price dropped to £12.99. At this price it was an absolute bargain. I buy these as an end of day treat when I finish work (healthier than cake). It's a great little kit and was well suited to my end of day 'reward' taking about half an hour to complete. My only criticisms would be that I'm not a fan of the stickers in lego kits. I would prefer if these things were pre-printed. This kit was unusual in that there was a mix of stickers and pre-printed part (i.e the bonnet). My other criticism would be that the way the windscreen/roof attaches is a bit flimsy in that it does not secure at the back of the roof. That's fine when it's a display model but a couple of times when I've picked it up the roof has detached from the rest of the car resulting in the car almost (thanks to quick reactions) dropping on the floor. Other than that. It's Lego and it's awesome !

An amazing product, got thia as a gift for my partnwr as he loves lego and Forza Horizon. When i saw this card i couodnt resist it for him, when my partner opened the gift and he saw this he started to make it straight away all the parts were there and they even tage a lot of spares which again was an amazing idea incase you lost any. Once hed build it which didnt take very long as the instructions were very clear and easy to follow he displayed it onnhis shelf. Definitely recommended for car/lego lovers. Will buy again.

Ordered for my grandson to cheer him up, and give him something to do and to get him off his Xbox for an hour. Well he loved it!! he enjoyed building it and it kept him busy for a couple of hours. well worth the money, a lovely bit of kit.

Loving these Lego Speed Champions cars, so fun to build and iconic cars. Would love for them to do more group b rally cars. Fun build and looks amazing sat on my desk at work. Worth every penny.
