Champion Traps & Targets—in partnership with world-renown exhibition shooter Tom Knapp—introduces the EasyHit Fiber Optic Sighting System. This fiber-optic sight attaches by an adhesive strip to any ventilated or solid rib or flat surface (and ported barrels) and is low profile as to not change your point of impact. The hollow tube design helps shooters use both eyes when acquiring their sight picture. It's the safest and best way to shoot.

Helps to Properly Align for Quick Shots
This is my second one, the first was a 2.5mm, I recommend the 3mm. The reason I am giving this a 4 is that if you bang the site on anything, like I did on first day of use dove hunting, climbing under a horse fence, it cracked the filament midway and it fell out. I found it and glued it back in but it only had 1/2 the light catching capability because of the break and why I bought the second one. I recommend putting a small drop of crazy glue in a couple of holding brackets so that if you do this you don't lose the filament altogether.Otherwise, it is quite helpful in getting proper alignment for a shot, especially when busting quail when you are snap shooting and can easily line up high or to the side before pulling the trigger and then missing. It also does a great job capturing light in low light conditions, gives you a bright spot vs the old metal bead.

Best shotgun sight on the market!
I have bought 7 of the Champion EasyHit's over the past 2 years. I have them on 3 guns that I shoot (Trap, Sporting Clays, Hunting). Most of the guys on my trap team have switched to these as well (that's where the other 4 went). I prefer the larger 3.0mm. I do have one teammate who uses the 2.5mm but my theory is bigger is always better ;) No one has had any issue with the glue. The one on my Benelli has had the most use hunting and I haven't had any issues in the nearly 2 years it has been on my gun.We all shoot with the 5" sight. Our thought is the longer the fiber optic is the brighter it will be at dusk. (For trap)Most of us are using the Green fiber optic. One guy is using the orange. Our though is the green is better than the orange for trap and sporting clays due to the clay birds getting lost in the orange fiber color. I have a friend who said the orange is best for a hunting situation but I still prefer the green.

Great Addition
I purchased these and placed them on different shot guns.I place the EasyHit Front Sights on my wife's, son's (11 years old) and my own shotguns. The sights attached very easily. I placed them on the barrels at the house and then slipped the guns into their respective cases and we went to the range and pulled the guns out at the range and sight were still in place right where they were placed. We all like the red glowing dot (they also come in green) in hood it really draws your eye right in and makes your head stay down on stock and keep the barrel down (sight alignment) when shooting with both eyes open. The red contrast against sky/background is easy for the eyes to follow compared to common bead sights. Both my wife and son had nothing but praise about the how the sight looked when looking down the barrel so it was a good confidence builder and then the addition of better than average broken birds only made it better! I think it is a great tool and the speed my eye finds it against varied backgrounds. This is not a "cure all" but it sure helped us all improve. Practice is still the key to success!I highly recommend watching in the "Champion EasyHit Shotgun Sight" Video with Tom Knapp. The video tells you all you need to know about sight and how to install it!

Does what it is supposed to do (hey, not everything does)
I tried this out on a sporting clays range a couple of weeks ago, and I have no complaints at all. I do think that I need to be careful with it when sliding the gun into its case, or leaning the barrel against the wooden stand while waiting my turn. It is not screwed on, and if it were to get scraped off, then I would be the one screwed !But it didn't happen, and it worked great. If I were smart I would buy a second one as a backup if it did come off.The thing I like best about it is that when that clay flies, there is no time or brain power at all devoted to finding the sight. It is there for you all lit up. I really like eliminating any distractions when I want to hit that danged clay, and this really helps that.I am not cross-dominant, but I can certainly see how it would help me if I was. I like it.

Amazing how it align/follow's a moving target, Old Bad Eyes or Good Eyes
as a kid I learned to shoot with both eyes open,YES it took a little time to be able to ignore the double image that eventually became non existent,I'm and old fart now and the teeny tiny little OEM brass bead is getting more and more difficult to see along with following the target, so I resorted to shooting just by instinct, witch sucked!Installed this sight with ease and BAM! now I am in full focus on the moving target and the green dot lets me know where my aim is without even trying!Be careful how you store your firearm if it is in a gun bag to not drag it out of the bag hole go ahead and unzip all the way down to remove the gun, I keep mine in a hard case so no problem there..

Darn fiber fell out while shooting....!
Have to tell you, pretty bummed out. Cross eye dominant wanting to train up my right eye. First time using went out to sporting clays range and the damn fiber fell out by the third station..! Never found it. Complete PIA and complete let down. Biggest shame is I purchased three of these for my three shotguns. Have put a dab of super glue on the remaining two sights.Bummed out in terms of quality control. I can't believe I am the only one to have had this experience.

Not very bright in low light conditions.
Got the largest 5” version in green as suggested by mfg for low light conditions. Was expecting it to be visible in low light using a tactical flashlight. Unfortunately I can’t see the fiber optic at all, but it makes a fairly good visible outline against the flashlight hot spot. Not what I was expecting for low light, but very nice in bright to moderately-low light conditions.

great idea, poor execution, not for 3gun.
It's a good sight that isn't up to the job.Low profile, bright, gives decent feedback on being off axis, but the rod broke after 6 stages of shooting with no substantial abuse. (standard 3 gun dump buckets with mag tube impacting carpet squares at the bottom). Like others have posted the fiber snapped off and came out. It snaps a mm or two from where it is secured in the end of the tube leaving you with nothing.

Great product
This really is a great product. I have cross eye dominance and this seems to help. You can only see the light with one eye so you know which ghost image is the correct one. More than anything, it helps you get a consistant mount.

Awesome sight for ageing eyes
I wear progressive lens bifocal glasses, and was struggling to see my tiny brass bead sight when Trap Shooting. I tried the Easy Hit sight today at the range, and was thrilled with the sight picture of the luminous green dot. This sight made it so much easier to pick up my target clays. I highly recommend it in the green 5 inch format.

Dominant eye fix for shotgun
Works great for trap shooting with both eyes open. You can only see the sight color with the sighting eye.
