I have just finished my first of the two Nature's Gate Hemp Velvet Moisture Body Wash. As other reviewers mentioned, when I received the body wash, the tops were loose, and some of the soap had leaked out into the packaging. They were packaged in a plastic bag, then in the box, so the soap didn't get on anything other than the bottles. I just rinsed them off, and that was that. I ordered this body wash because hemp is so renewable, and because Nature's Gate is a vegan company (does not use animal-derived ingredients and does not test on animals). It has been a great product thus far. I use it daily, on a loofah. It foams up really well, and I wash my entire body with about two pumps. I could probably use less if I wanted to be more conservative with the soap. It smells nice. It does not irritate my skin, or cause any redness or acne. It's overall a great product. I have no complaints. After I finish my current lotion, I think I'll buy the Nature's Gate Hemp Moisturizing Lotion. I already use (and am happy with) the Nature's Gate Hemp Conditioner.

The Nature's Gate Hemp Body Wash is my favourite soap for myself and my daughter. I have been using it since she was a baby, as opposed to typical popular brands of baby wash and shampoos, and with their ingredients I have always felt safe using it on her. For myself, not only is it a great body wash that smells wonderful, it is also the best makeup removing soap out of anything else I have ever used.. without the feeling of drying out my skin. In fact, my face always feels really smooth afterwards.Since coming across this brand, I have never used anything else for my face/body wash or shampoo & conditioner (also, used on my baby. I absolutely love their Henna + Avocado Shampoo&Conditioner for my waist-length hair).

I usually don't care for pomegranate scented or flavored anything, but my husband likes it and we needed more body wash, so I decided to switch out our regular dye and sulfate-ridden washes for something natural.Good news: I actually like this scent! It actually smells like real pomegranate (and maybe real sunflower, but I have no idea what that is supposed to smell like). It is not drying at all, which I appreciate, and a little goes a long way, which I also appreciate. Just a bit of it foamed up nicely to cover my entire body and there were no dry patches.Bad news: The only thing I really didn't like was that, when I received the bottles, they had spilled inside the sealed bag that they were packaged in. I hated that because some of the product was wasted and the bottles were covered in it. However, that was not the product's fault. For this, I recommend buying at a store near you. The product is great, they just need to package it better.

So... I love the body wash. it smells like heaven on earth, feel wonderful on my skin, and doesn't irritate my skin (whish is extremely sensitive) like most body washes. The ONLY reason this isn't getting five stars is because of how it shipped. when I got it, the top was busted, and it had leaked everywhere. I was able to save it, but the sellers really need to wrap it better for shipping.

I am always pleased with Nature's Gate products, but their Pomegranate Sunflower Velvet Moisture Body Wash is exceptional. The smell is wonderful--not too fruity or too flowery, and it rinses off well and leaves your skin feeling clean. I'm always getting compliments on how great I smell, and when they ask what scent I am wearing, I tell them "none, it's my body wash". I highly recommend Nature's Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Velvet Moisture Body Wash to everyone.You may be lucky enough to find it in your local grocery, drug, or health food store, but you will probably be paying top price, so be sure to look for great deals on multipacks on amazon.com

I love this stuff. I was using Irish Spring before this, but I wanted to escape animal cruelty. Not only does this accomplish that, but it is *so* much better than Irish Spring. I can't fully describe it, but my skin feels better after using this vs my old junk. I know it won't be for everybody, but the scent is amazing as well. I can't help but occasionally smell myself after using this because I adore the scent so much.I hope they never change the recipe for this. I have no intention of ever not using it again.

I'm not certain whether it's the product that stinks or it's Amazon's fault for selling a product past it's shelf life, but it smells like BODY ODOR mixed with a slight (barely there) fruit scent. all of the other reviews said the scent was nice, but it's far from nice. I would know if it was a pleasant scent, or a even a subtle pleasant scent... but it was a truely bad scent. It's possible that because it's all natural, the scent doesn't have a long shelf life. It may not have preservatives to keep the natural ingredients fresh. But because I tried it out after the 30 day return policy, I couldn't return it. Purchase at your own risk, and return before the 30 day return policy!Update - I love this product so much because it does leave your skin really soft and it's all natural, so I decided to try other scents. Glad I did!! The Papaya and Aloe smell wonderful!! Stay clear of the Pomegranate!

I'm never using any other product brand. Nature's gate is hands down the best. I use the tea tree shampoo and conditioner, the pomegranate sunflower lotion and the body wash. I'm super soft and smell really good. Not too strong and not so light that you can't smell it. It moisturizes pretty good. I like that it doesn't leave a residue that other moisturizing body washes do. It leaves me feeling clean and not oily. I have dry skin.
