Very thin/fragile but great quality! The grey color is great! I have an Optoma HD27HDR.
**If you buy try to be there when the delivery guy hands it to you. And open it infront of him/her to verify your order is all there.** There has a mishap with my first order I received an empty tube. I contacted amazon and they shipped me a replacement three days later. However the replacement was missing the hardware. Nevertheless I had made my own frame and stapled it to the wood. I did not need the hardware to begin with. I did realize how easy the screen slips out of the shipping tube it comes with. The replacement was not packaged well just like the first. It comes in a long tube with the ends taped. The manufacturer should consider adding end caps to the tube followed by lots of tape. Installation was tedious the material is very thin and you can easily damage it if you poke your nails through the back when stapling. Be careful and take your time. Make sure the surface you lay this on is clean and perfectly flat. At night the screen does have a light "oily" (for lack of a better word) look to it. Almost like little sparkles. I can't quite explain it. It does not bother me as its all over the screen and not concentrated specifically but Im the only one that notices in my household anyway. Wish I could photograph it but my camera also doesn't capture it. I would buy this again though I feel the price is too steep for how thin and fragile it is. Yes I recommend this. Worth every penny
Super needed I love how much this makes the quality better it makes the colors more vibrant as a regular tv would it was customizable to any size. The material is good and thick. It’s easy to assemble, I put mine on my wall with some double sided tape. Only thing is that it doesn’t come with a stand or frame. And make sure to use the grey side for best results.

Product Damaged by Transit
The item itself is of good quality and works as advertised. However, the packing used for shipping leaves much to be desired. The packing was broken upon arrival and the screen has many wrinkles that are distracting.

Good shipping lackluster results
I ordered this on Black Friday and just got around to installing it. Those complaining about wrinkles are not stretching the material correctly. You must work in a way slowly stretching opposite of where you just stretched slowly making your way across the screens length. This leaves 0 wrinkles. The material is thick and of quality. The Shipping method uses a rigid tube in a box that protects the material. My box was crushed but the tube was fine. My tube did not have caps but the material was not damaged. As others have said it rejects so much light to the point your image will become washed out. The dark scenes become almost unwatchable. Where I once had bright vivid colors with my white screen are now muted tones. Before you say you need to manage the incoming light in the room, there are blinds and curtains. This is for a living room not a theatre. If It was needed to manage the incoming light to that extent that would defeat the purpose of the material. I wanted this as an upgrade and that is not what I ended up with. I will be returning to my white screen. Attached are images with a lighted normal living room with a darkened room. Lights off with some ambient light. The video is with lights off, blinds closed, darker room. Long story short it’s dark. Buy if you intend on using in a really dark room.

Take your time.
At first I was sent a returned screen which was unusable because it had staple holes all over it and badly wrinkled. I waited another week for a new replacement and was hoping for the best. I made a frame a week before and watched all the different methods of securing the screen. I decided to try to use staples first and if that didn’t work I’d try to fiberglass poles. Staples worked. Hand tight. Make sure to keep flat. Also make sure that the suture framing within the rectangle is offset less than flush on the side that you’ll put the screen. If not the post will poke through. I’ve looked at samples from other companies that where much more expensive and this screen material is comparable. The main difference is perhaps that maybe the other company’s screen felt a tad thicker and stretchy. That might translate to being more forgiving with the set up but mine stretched out just fine. Google the pattern for stretching out the screen and you will be fine. As far as picture quality. It’s much much better than my wall. Also the contrast/darks are greatly improved. I have the viewsonic 701 4K which doesn’t have the best darks and the screen helped a lot. Their are a few spots that seem a tad loose but once a picture is projected I can hardly see any wrinkles. I’d really have to be watching and will only be obvious rarely. Can’t say another brand would have been any better and I believe it’s worth the price. Probably saved hundreds.

I really wish it would smooth out.
Initially, the quality seems decent. I stretched it out smooth in a custom frame. I took care and staples it every few inches. It turned out great. But then, when I hung it on the wall, a bunch of vertical ripples showed up. Now, because it's 75° F instead of the 65° F when I stretched it, I have a few other ripples now too. I'll be able to clean those up, but after a couple of weeks, the verticals still haven't smoothed out. They are very obvious and distracting, especially during action and on screen movement. The reflectiveness and brilliance during day and night are great! Honestly, if it wasnt for the vertical ripples, I woul give it 5 stars, but I can't.

Wrinkles badly with temperature change
I set this screen up in Feb. Perfect view. In May, as the temperature increased in the house, the screen tension began to loosen up apparently, and really visible wrinkles began to appear. The wrinkles are clearly connected with the temperature because in colder days the wrinkles disappear.

DIY Project that I'm glad I did
So I did this project twice using the same screen and it held up very nicely! Here is what I learned as I am new to DIYing. I followed the video instructions on this page that tells you to do it with garden stakes and zip ties, this is the method I would recommend because it allows for error and reusability. If you cut it to size and staple it directly to the wood it's going to expand and contract and you will not have a way to tighten it. The first time I used 2x4 pieces of common wood. This was my first mistake. The frame was warped, huge and heavy. I also learned that if don't lay your pieces down on the floor to make sure they are not bowed, you are going to have a bad time. In the picture (my second attempt) I used pine wood trim. This was superb as it was straight, lightweight and easily held together by heavy duty staples. When I purchased my screen it came with the felt, but I destroyed it the first time so I'll be purchasing another. It does look better with felt because it hides the slightly overflowing image of the projection if you don't have it perfect. The zip ties CAN dimple and puncture the screen if you are not careful. I am really happy with how it turned out and it made my theater room look more purposed instead of just two speakers on a wall. But this project is full of learning experiences and you must be prepared to put the effort in. Otherwise just paint the wall white.

WOW!
I have looked all over for screen material this size. Very hard to find. Also too many companies ship their screens folded and they come very wrinkly and stay like that for the longest time. This screen however was packed very well. I'm very impressed how it was shipped. Amazon did a bad job of boxing it, but thankfully the seller ships this in a long heavy duty tube and also an inner tube as well. Then even have a protective sheet of paper between the screen when rolled. So even though Amazon just sloppily taped two boxes together with no packing or padding, it came undamaged because seller did such a good job. As for the actual screen...I usually use black out material form our local fabric store and it works great, but the width is limited to 54 inches and I needed bigger. This scree is HUGE and I made a wood frame to stretch and staple this screen onto it. Like you would for an artist's painting canvas. I hung it on my wall and it is FABULOUS! It reflects the projector's light evenly and brilliantly. Like photo paper compared to normal printing paper. I don't know the technology behind how this screen is made but all I know it that it is the best. It makes my cheap projector seem like it's one of those expensive home entertainment projectors. Really improves the quality of the video/images. Blacks are blacker....colours are more brilliant. The price is very good considering what you get. I complain a lot and am hard to please....but I'm very happy with this product and how well it is packed by the seller.

excellent material
Excellent material. It is grey, and has a decent gain, so works well in less than perfect light conditions. As for the material itself, it is easy to work with. It came well protected in a tube. I used the IKEA Bjorksta frame, that I trimmed to form a 90" screen (200cm width). Note on stretching, do stretch it while it is a warm. If you stretch it in a cold room, once the temp raises 10 degrees it will sag, and you will see wrinkles. In my experience I made the screen in the spring, when it was around 20 and once the summer rolled in with heat waves up to 30 during the day, the screen became a "thermometer", showing wrinkles once it is hot. Luckily with he bjorksta frame I just re-stretched it on one of the warm days, and it has been great ever since. A slight hotspotting in the center can be observed if you are really looking for it, but it is barely noticeable in the movies. And I have a 1:1 through ratio, if you have a longer through ratio it would be even less for you. So for the price it is a great screen, some DIY action and accurate handling is required though. I suggest you order the samples of their material to see if it works for you. That is what I did.

Works amazing!
I was surprised by the effect of this screen, because of its low price. You can actually see quite a difference when compared to a white screen (I have a motorized one) or the wall; it REALLY gives you a decent contrast and gets the dark areas DARK! It will pop the colors as well, so you might have to adjust the contrast settings a little down, or if your projector lacks on contrast, this will bring you a great benefit (mine has Dolby Vision, so I have to tone it down a bit to my surprise, in a good way). I glued this into my motorized screen and works perfectly XD and I saved some hundreds of dollars by not buying a super expensive motorized ALR screen. You can buy the demo material here on Amazon and try for yourself, it's really worth it! If you watch in the daylight, you will be able to see the unwashed blacks very decently. I will update with photos as soon as I can.
