Amazon Essentials Men's V-Neck Cotton Cardigan Sweater

I’m really impressed with this Amazon Essentials men’s cotton cardigan sweater. The material is soft, breathable, and comfortable without feeling too thin or flimsy. It fits true to size and layers perfectly over a t-shirt or button-down, making it great for both casual and slightly dressier looks. The stitching and buttons feel solid, and it holds its shape well after washing. For the price, the quality is outstanding — it looks much more expensive than it is. This has quickly become a go-to piece in my wardrobe, and I’d definitely buy it again in another color. Highly recommended!

I ordered the first one of these Amazon Essentials cardigans in size Medium as suggested by the size chart, and it was too small which surprised me since I am only 5'6" and 145 lbs. Interestingly, some of the reviews before I made my size choice said they ran small, some said the size was correct and others said they ran large. Obviously, the issue must be that size satisfaction depends on how one likes their clothes to fit. Thus, maybe the following will help in your choice of size for this cardigan. I like a loose fit in a cardigan because I like to be able put it on or take it off with ease when I get too cold or to warm when I am watching TV, sitting at my desk, while eating, etc. That means a good size for me is a cardigan that has roomy sleeves that don't impede my taking the cardigan off or putting it on while I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt or sweater under it. For me, the large fits the bill. I also don't like cardigans that bind across the chest and under the arms. Again, the large size fits the bill. I hope that helps some. BTW, I am really impressed by the quality of the Amazon Essentials cardigan. It's attractive, appears to be relatively well made, and is remarkably reasonable in price. In fact the price at around $20 is so reasonable that I'm keeping the medium as a backup rather than returning it.

I bought Large as I wanted to go for an oversized look, I’m 6’0 155, but it fits like a slim fit. It doesn’t look bad, it’s a good car digan, the hem is tidy, the stitches aren’t loose. The he color is just like the image and it has a good weight to it. I’ll report back in a couple of months for pilling. Conclusion, it’s a cheaper alternative to other cardigans, if you need/want one get this alternative

I am a teacher in my classroom is extremely cold all year long. I wear this every day. Similar to Mr. Rogers. I have it hanging on a hook as soon as I walk into my classroom and I put it on making sure that anything I wear will look good with this beautifully crafted black sweat sweater .

Very good for the price. I see very similar cardigans going for twice the price of this at the mall. The sizing guide seems fair to me as well, though keep in mind this cardigan did shrink a bit in the washer/dryer for me. I am 5'10 and 145 lb, and the size large fit me pretty well at time of purchase (I would say neither too loose or too tight). After washing, it's a tiny bit tighter (but still wearable at this size - I would not go up a size).

Fantastic Cardigan ... I'll admit ... I'm old ok ... & our office - when the building AirCon kicks in - is WAY cold for me - 3 heart attacks - a battery of drugs are keeping me alive - so - maybe it's the fact my body can't retain heat as well as it did when I was in my 20's ... this sweater is PERFECT - super soft / comfy ... great colour - fits perfectly - I'm 170lbs & 5'10" & bought the large sothat it was a wee bit bulky on me & it fits exactly the way I want ...

I really liked this alot when I first received it. Lands on the eyes well right out of the package and has a classy look and a very soft feel. The texture is nice and the weave is tight. The weight is slightly heavy, which is what I wanted. The sizing was fine. The price was good at less than $30. I ordered black. Then I began wearing it... I wear it probably 3 days a week in the office at my desk. I'm cold natured so I stay in it all day rather than taking it off and putting it back on. I got several compliments on it initially. As I said, visually it has a very classy look. When I'm not wearing it it stays folded, not on a hanger. The big downside is the weave is loosening quickly with gentle, casual wearing in the office. There is significant sagging now in both the body and the arms at only 6 weeks old. It does tend to attract lint, so I washed it once with a gentle cycle, even though it is 100% cotton. Dried it with regular heat. I thought this might help both the lint issue and might firm up the material to the way it was. Not so. At this point, it looks about 6 months old and heavily worn with wrinkles on the arms that can't be pressed out of it. I still wear it, but I'm certain I won't get but a few months of life out of it. Manufacturers have gotten really good at making things appear to be a higher level of quality to the eye than they really are. Disappointed overall, but not out much money.
