BN59-01298H Replaced Voice Remote fit for Samsung TV Q6FN QLED Smart 4K UHD T...

Just received this remote about 30 mins ago, and I am very happy with it. However, I just took off the back and realize it is not stamped with the OEM model number B59-01298H. So I'm thinking it is a knockoff just like the 01298A which is advertised elsewhere here at Amazon. So I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 for what appears to be a bit of a deception. Anyhow, It works great and responds quickly and easily to commands - and it came with a simple instruction sheet to get it paired with the TV. Ensuring I had the TV turned off I loaded the batteries and with the first touch of a button, pairing popped up on the screen and completed in about 5-10 seconds. Using voice to bring up the TV's menu, the remote responded so quickly to ever command I took the time to review all menu items while in there. After exiting menu, testing other buttons on the remote were all satisfactory as well. I've known for some time that my now old remote was in need of replacement, but put it off until it lost the ability to pair with the TV after unpairing while sitting without being used for a while. Fresh batteries did not git 'er done. Enough outta me. Very satisfied and happy, it works like a charm. Good value for the money. Addendum: I have had so many things around the house breaking down as of late, it is nice that this one remedied so satisfactorily. So far. The others have been much more of a bad pill. No, really, I'm finished now. ;-) Oh, and I received it next day delivery. No, really, I really am finished now.

After I managed to pry it open with a utility knife…I put in 2 AA batteries, pointed it at the TV, pressed ON. VOILA! All features worked immediately! I could hardly believe it. I put back on loosely and taped it so when I have to change batteries in a year or so, I can open it.

This remote dose not control like the original one that came with the tv It has to be pointed directly at the sensor And it will not work as a universal remote

Perfect replacement. Even better with rubberized buttons. Stays connected better than the factory remote.

This remotes works fine for changing channels but does not work for volume control. We have an external sound bar attached to the TV and the original remote works to change/mute the volume. This remote does not change the volume. If someone has a tip, it would be appreciated.

Its disconnect self from TV offen, you have to keep removing,replace batteries and pair over and over everytime its unpaired itself. I must say it is very frustrating, I reached out to the seller response was just pair remote with TV, my question is when will it end. It never end
