What are these eco-friendly bowls lined with?

Our Coconut Shell Bowls are completely natural and 100% organic. They are lined with a coconut oil based lacquer to protect them from staining and damage whilst washing.

Are these big and deep enough for ramen?

Hi there, People have certainly bought them for ramen in the past, so I would assume that they have been suitable for ramen, although each bowl does naturally differ in size and shape slightly. We offer a 100% money back guarantee should you purchase them and discover that they are not suitable, for your peace of mind. Thanks The Jungle Team

Mine have cracked after a few uses. Not using the microwave just the heat of the broth. Is that an issue with this type of product?

Hi. I don't think they're good for hot liquids (like soup or broth). Hot food (for example, I use them for our 18-month-old granddaughter's food, chopped up), salad or cereal are definitely all fine. I've done instant porridge in one once, which was fine but don't think I'd do it again, as they are quite thin. I wash them in warm soapy water, never hot, and definitely do not put them in the dishwasher. Mine have been absolutely fine with many uses. Hope this helps!

will these soften if left in the fridge overnight with oats soaking for breakfast? [made the mistake with bamboo bowls so am a bit wary!]

Hi There! All wooden products are porous, meaning that they absorb a small amount of what they come into contact with. For this reason, we wouldn't recommend storing any foods or liquids in coconut bowls for a prolonged period of time. I hope this answers your question! Jungle Team
