Very good pure sine wave inverter
Have had this installed for 17 months in my 1997 Winnebago Minnie Winnie motorhome. It has worked flawlessly and I am very happy with it. It is connected to a 460 amp-hour LiFEPO4 battery. I can run the microwave from it and also have run the Air Condiitioner for over 45 minutes. It has a very low idle power consumption (I measured it around 6 watts with no loads on it). When I did overload it the inverter protected itself and shut down until the overload was gone.

100% Reliable!
Runs my big 15A table saw in my detached shop but, you need a big battery aray to run anything else in conjunction. 4 12V 100ah LifePo4 batteries would run the saw, but my desktop computer would shut down. I added another 4 batteries for a total of 800ah and this sucker runs everything. It's rated @ 17.4 amps continuously and yes it does, but you better have a BIG battery array and BIG DC cables to support what it's capable of. Fans kick on when it's pressed hard as they should. The remote on/switch works fine, but uses semi-proprietary connectors meaning phone style RJ 9, four conductor terminations. Not an issue for me as I have that stuff laying around as a former Telecom System engineer, I extended it to 50 ft with no problems. Dump the supplied DC cables and make or buy some good 2 AWG high strand count (welding) cables and crimp them with a hydraulic crimper. For the price, it's an astounding inverter, but you have to enough power and associated cable to make it work to its peak. Don't expect any programmability or communication of any sort, just screw it to the wall with BIG DC cables and it just does it's thing. The LED display does tell you watts out, volts in and it just rotates between the two every few seconds. It will give you errors as well, but I've never run into one. It does have a screw terminal AC out, but I've not had a chance to use it.

Works very well
Great inverter but 18" of wires and slightly undersized for higher loads. The wiring should be 2/0. The short length let's them get away with being smaller gauge, but come on, give us at least 2 feet and 2/0. Only other qualm is the remote. Can not just use the small WindyNation remote, wiring will not work. Looks like standard phone jack but will not connect. Now to try to run yet another wire in an rv! Lol Overall inverter is quiet. Running a space heater on low 620w for a couple hours and fan doesn't even run. running it on high kicks in the fan but it is quieter then my 1500w WindyNation was.

So far so good
I bought this inverter to use with a large 200-amp hour battery to provide emergency power to run my fridge and other essentials when the power goes out (thanks PG&E). I wanted a pure sine-wave unit in order to provide clean power to my fridge and microwave. A pure-sine wave unit is necessary for these devices as the non-sine wave units will cause additional wear and tear in addition to making the devices run less efficiently. The reason why I picked this inverter was because of the 36-month warranty and because it seems to have the best reviews out of all the other inverters. It seems well built. Upon initial testing it worked great. I plugged in a shop-vac as a test and it ran fine, just as if it was plugged into the wall. I decided to take some measurements and here were my findings: With the vacuum running, the inverter showed an approximate 1300-watt draw and a battery voltage of 12.4. At the same time I put a clamp-on ammeter on one of the battery leads and it showed a little over 130-amp draw. That equates to around 80% efficiency which isn't bad. Another good thing, was I felt the leads and the inverter and they were not warm at all! The included leads seem to be sized properly and the inverter seems to have an adequate cooling system. The fans did kick on once I fired up the vacuum, and shut off as soon as I turned-off the vacuum, so this inverter is dead silent when it has a minimum load, unlike other inverters where the fan runs all the time which can be annoying. As far as standby current, when the initially powered up with no load, it draws around 600-milliamps, which isn't bad for an inverter this size. However what is interesting is when you put a load on the inverter and then remove the load it still maintains a current draw of around 1.2 amps. I had to power down the inverter and power it back on again in order for the current draw to settle back down to 600-milliamps. I am not sure why this is. Also, with the inverter powered off completely I did measure a draw of around 60-milliamps. So just by having the inverter hooked up regardless if it is turned on or not it will draw a slight amount, though this amount is so minute that is negligible and I would say is normal. As long as you have a charger plugged in at least once-per-month or have a solar charging system then you do not have to worry about leaving this inverter hooked up to your battery 24/7 Al-in-all, first impressions are great and it seems like it will fit my needs. Time will tell how well this inverter holds up!

Excellent inverter for my RV (and backup power for my house)
After a lot of research, I selected the PS-2200KAR primarily to provide clean AC power in my RV, and also as a backup power source for my house during outages -- the trailer sits on an RV pad by my garage. We always boondock (i.e., no shore power) when camping. This inverter was incorporated into our trailer's solar power system: 800 watts of rooftop solar into an Epever (6415AN) MPPT controller to charge two 12v SOK 206AH batteries (in parallel) powering the inverter which, in turn, outputs AC to a TS-30 automatic transfer switch to power all AC circuits in the trailer. While camping the inverter can easily run our microwave and rooftop soft-start air conditioner (although not both at the same time). I have run the air conditioner for more than an hour with no issues. When towing, we also can now run our refrigerator on AC instead of propane. The inverter, batteries, and solar charger are located under a dinette seat (see photo), so I installed three PC fans (two for air intake, one for exhaust) to keep everything running cool; the fans are controlled by a digital thermostat. This system has seen heavy use and has been running flawlessly for the past 10 months. When the trailer is parked at home, I run a heavy gauge extension cord from one of its AC outlets to our house's generator input box which connects to a 10-circuit manual transfer switch. Now, when PGE has one of its frequent power outages, I can immediately switch on house circuits to run off of the trailer's batteries/inverter. In this mode, the inverter has powered our house for hours, including the refrigerator, microwave, HVAC gas furnace/fan, WIFI router, and all the lights (LEDs) throughout our home. Now, when the power goes out, I only have to drag out and connect my portable generator if the outage lasts for more than 4-5 hours. I highly recommend this inverter!

It just works
I had purchased this inverter a few years ago after seeing some good reviews on it. It was really my first leap into solar power. I had this thing out in my barn for a year and it powered my entire barn with no issues. I even ran some extension cords to the house to temporarily power some loads in the house, including the washing machine. It just worked. After I had upgraded my entire system to 48v, I decided to repurpose my entire 12v solar system into a portable power station with the Giandel 2200W Inverter at the heart of it. Everything worked great until I inadvertently tried to charge with improper settings on my charge controller, which ended up blowing capacitors in the inverter. Giandel support was great! Elsa worked with me and ended up sending me a second hand inverter which is now installed in my portable power station. It's really a breath of fresh air to have a product that just works as well as a company that stands behind their products and gets back to you in a timely manner.

Good product except for delivery service
Update: Elsa from Customer service is great. I got my replacement cables as promised and my replacement inverter. It has handled every load perfectly. It has averaged less Than a 1% Harmanic Distortion rate and has proved to be one of the best inverters I have ever owned. I belive the defect on my previous inverter was caused by the delivery service. I like this inverter so much that I will be purchasing a second one soon. Old review: I built a solar generator. On the day I got this product tha amazon delivery driver dropped it from waist high to a cement floor. I was pissed after reviewing the ring camera footage. There was no packing materials to soften the blow. The box from the manufacturer was opened inside the Amazon box. It was missing cables and the remote. I installed the item using my own cables and it worked fine the first week but I noticed it shut of 2 times under 1/2 load. I don't know if the damage was caused by the delivery service or if was just a defective item. I called customer service and asked them to send me the cables. The manufacturer has a phone number that nobody answers. They did respond to my emails promptly. The unit was returned and I ordered a replacement. The second driver was considerate enough to place the item gently on the floor. It had cables and all the accessories as advertised. I got a good deal on this inverter so I want to give them a second chance. Stay tuned for a revised review

Easy to installโฆ
This inverter is a powerhouse, perhaps overkill for many, but it turned out to be the perfect match for my off-grid project. I purchased some solar panels on Amazon for a shipping container being used as storage, and with the help of my cousin, who is an electrician (although it was his first off-grid venture), the installation was surprisingly straightforward. The inverter powered over three 120w lights and even a small table saw, providing ample electricity for my needs. We had a blast during the installation process, and while we couldn't test it for an extended period due to my battery's energy constraints, the starting amp capacity impressed us. From small devices to medium-powered tools, this inverter is versatile and handles the load effortlessly. If you're looking for reliable off-grid power, this inverter is a solid choice.

Flawless pure-sine inverter for off-grid use
I have been using this Giandel 2200w 12v pure sine inverter for past 6+ months and couldn't be happier. The inverter is much quieter than the one it replaced (a Motomaster pure sine that gave out and they wouldn't honor the warranty) and less bulky. I use this to power my off-grid cabin using 2 different battery chemistries depending on the season (Lead carbon and LiFePo). This Giandel inverter runs my full size fridge continuously, and can additionally power another high-current device such as full-size microwave or standard coffee brewery without any issues. Excuse the wiring mess in my photo, I am currently contemplating switching to a 24v setup by doubling my batteries and using a series parallel configuration (with 4x210ah PbC batteries as my winter setup, and 4x300ah LFP as my summer setup) therefore making some changes. I will most likely look at the Giandel 3000w 24v pure sine inverter if/when I make this switch, however I am also looking at other potential brands based on pricing variables.

Great inverter!
Very happy with this inverter. It runs our a/c and microwave in the the motorhome, no problem. (not that we can use the a/c on batteries for any length of time, I did that right away only as a test) Customer service was excellent! I ended up being about 1 foot short when I routed the remote line for the power switch, and they sent me a longer cable. They replied to my email within 2 days. The inverter has only been installed for about 3 weeks, but it has been used a LOT since I installed it, and it has been working perfectly. Very happy with it!

Very good inverter
Ok. Waited for a bit for performance. Very strong inverter. Tested up to 2100 watts for 5 minutes with no issue. Fans are super quiet. Had to install super quiet fans in my old inverter due to the location and this one is great. No need to change the fans. The reason for 4 star is the battery terminal hookups on the inverter are small. I would have used 3/8โ but Iโm old school. Bigger is better.

Giandel replaced faulty inverter quickly
UPDATE: The customer service department came through after a few initial delays. When they committed to sending a replacement inverter, it was on my doorstep in 3 days. It is working as advertised. Thank you! This inverter arrived exactly on time and was installed the next day. It will not work and keeps showing the fault code OL. I have emailed Giandel customer service twice with photos and explanation. I had one reply asking how they could help and I replied. No more response. The second photo is the bottom plate on the unit. The worn metal around the screw hole appears as though this unit was taken apart and reconnected. I really hope it wasnโt a reconditioned unit. Iโm giving them one more day to respond or I will return the unit and try another company.

Excellent product support from Giandel.
I purchased the 2200w inverter for my RV. It would not run my 900w Microwave ( rated at 1400w ). Giandels tech support explained that these units employ sensitive protective circuitry to prevent overloading the inverter. The inrush current required to start the microwave was very likely exceeding the inverters rated output. They offered to pay for return shipping and refunded the full purchase price and shipped me the 3000w unit. I only had to pay the difference. The 3000w unit powers all my ac loads including the microwave with no issues. i was impressed with the customer support and would feel confident buying their products in the future.
