its GREAT as a mood/accent light; not bright enough for your only room light. Speaker works great, especially for the price. I bought this to put in my recessed kitchen light so I can listen to podcasts. Worked great for that but my daughter confiscated it & has it in her bedroom now.

My niece really enjoyed this light she said she that she hasn't had any issues so I would say this is a good product
