This is a well made and sturdy masher. I use it for potatoes as well as for shredding cooked meat. It’s comfortable to use and doesn’t hurt my hand.

Good quality, used to mashed potatoes
I used the KitchenAid Gourmet Stainless Steel Wire Masher a as supplementary tool for making mashed potatoes, and it works really well. It feels sturdy in the hand and mashes smoothly without bending or feeling flimsy. The wire design makes it easy to get a nice, even texture without too much effort. Simple tool, but very well made and reliable for everyday cooking.
