How many pieces does this set have

Lego list 1292 pieces for the 42108 mobile crane, mine came with 7 extra parts that were not required. (all the other Lego sets I've done have had extra parts but I've never been short, thankfully).

Can you dismiss and rebuild it after first time building it?

I can only speak of my own experience. On page 19 of the manual, step 36, I realised that I had joined the 4 sections incorrectly. I decided to dismantle all, much against my wishes. Either that or I could not continue as further steps would not have fitted. The point I am making here is that I dismantled my small initial build. I started again, and completed it successfully. To answer your question, yes I am sure you could dismantle all and start again. Hope I answered your question. Percy Briscoe.

No. Assembled correctly all moving parts work by turning relevant handles.
