True single note fragrance
It is just what I was looking for, a single note gardenia fragrance. It is strong, so I only use a very small touch of it at a time. The strong scent dissipates quickly to a subtly lingering scent.

Very very sweet - not a bad smell but does not smell like gardenia to me

Smells like actual gardenias, not an interpretation of it.
This is a single note roll on that really does evoke real gardenias. If that is what you are seeking, this is an inexpensive way to find it. The carrier oil is not detectable in scent, it feels light and lasts longer than alcohol based sprays.

Very disappointing
I wanted a pure smelling gardenia perfume oil and this isn’t it. It’s gardenia mixed with an herbal woody smell which isn’t very pleasant in my opinion and not what I wanted at all. I guess this company really lives up to its name herb and root. I had high hopes for this since gardenia is one of my favorite scents and this was a huge letdown. Now I’m searching for something else.

Very Herbal Scent
The fragrance was very disappointing. I kept waiting for the gardenia scent to come through, which it didn’t. It was very herb and root dominant, without much, (if any)floral scent coming through. Almost seemed medicinal.

Delicate gardenia scent
Starts off strong, sweet, and smelling exactly like gardenias in bloom. Quickly fades to a lovely delicate floral scent. I put it on my pulse points and catch whiffs of it throughout the day. I can smell it for about half the day before I like to reapply it.
