Ergobaby Teething Pads, Cream (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These are drool pads that Velcro over the straps of the Ergobaby. I've only had to wash them once, but they washed fine. They do exactly what they promise.I did only give 4 stars though because of a somewhat odd experience with the recall notice. I sent in my registration for the recall information and it was returned to me with a "Return to Sender" sticker and the note "Business Reply Permit Canceled." Truthfully, I don't know what that means, but it makes me a little wary that it came with the registration/recall card but then it was not accepted.

This is a necessity if you have an ergo carrier. My daughter is teething and drools so the pads keeps the straps clean and somewhat dry. I love that the material is super soft and is easy to attach and take off. It makes it easy to throw in the wash whenever I do the laundry and they keep me from washing the ergo every week. I do wish they were a little thicker because I find that my daughter could drool through them pretty quickly without much effort. I also think the price is a little high for what you get, but I can overlook the price because it protects my ergo and saves me the trouble of washing the whole thing too often.

I am giving these only three stars because they only partly solved the issue they are advertised to solve -- babies chewing on Ergo straps! Due to the construction of my Ergo Performance carrier, these pads don't cover the part of the strap that is closest to the bottom (where it is sewn to the part of the carrier actually holding the baby). They slide up and since my baby's mouth is nearest to the bottom of the strap, that is where he is apt to chew. Occasionally he will chew on the part with the teething pad, but since it is thicker than the strap alone, it is also harder for him to get the pad into his mouth.Additionally, these are small and not terribly thick or absorbent. I really like the concept of them, but feel the execution is only partly successful. I had high hopes for these, and try to give out positive reviews, but I am rather disappointed with this accessory. Now the carrier itself -- I will give that 5 stars any day!

My MIL was very concerned about my little 6 month old in her Ergo, primarily due to the amount of time she spent chewing on the sides. So when I saw these available, I bought them in a heartbeat...not thinking it all the way through. For starters, since she's chewing on it non-stop, it's usually soggy. Soaked. For that reason alone I've been washing them frequently. But heaven forbid if she's has a bite of ANYTHING, then they're instantly colored to match (or not - once dried!) her snack that day. And more frequently than not, we're eating on the run, or she's begging for a small bite of whatever I've lucked into finding the time to eat. These spend more time being washed and dried than they actually do on the Ergo with the 2 of us. So yeah, another color, and I'd easily give 5 stars....but, white???

I recently purchased the Boba 3G carrier and I was looking at the Boba teething pads, because my 7 month old has been teething like crazy lately and I didn't want her to destroy the straps of the carrier. I was all set to purchase the Boba pads when I noticed that these pads were half the price, but looked like the exact same thing. I figured I would give it a shot and hope they fit. They fit on the straps perfectly! My daughter instantly started chewing and sucking on these when I put her in the carrier. The pads are nice and soft and wash up well. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend that even if you don't have the carrier they are made for you give them a shot.

If you're looking at these teething pads, then you don't need any convincing to buy an Ergobaby carrier. But just in case you need a little more persuading, they truly are awesome. I've had mine for about 6 months and it is SO worth the money.Now about the teething pads... Buy them! I noticed quickly after I purchased my carrier that I would need to wash it often since my son liked to chew on the straps and they would get soaked. This was a great solution. They're very soft and absorbent. It's super easy to take them off, throw them in the washer, and stick them back on.I would definitely recommend to buy the teething pads if you have the carrier, or plan to get one.

I bought these to go on my Pognae carrier and luckily, they fit just fine!They do the job of protecting the straps and my baby chews & gnaws on them frequently. She is rather rough with them and they have held up well after 5 months of use.They are easy to wash and take a little time to dry since they are thick. I recommend getting a pair to spare.Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this item. I think that the price is a little high for something so simple.

I initially was hesitant to spend so much money on two small pieces of cloth. I still feel that these are overpriced, but they do save me from having to wash my ergo carrier after each use, and they are much softer for my baby to chew on than the ergo carrier straps. They are easy to throw in with the wash, and snap easily onto the carrier. Still, a very expensive buy especially after the cost of the carrier.

These are lovely and soft, easy to attach to the carrier and quick to wash and dry.

These are a great way to avoid having to wash your carrier every couple of days (or let your baby chew on several days' worth of spit—yuck). I purchased them for use with a Hana carrier and Baby Bjorn and they fit the straps on both well. Giving four stars as I've found the poppers a little awkward at times and they are somewhat overpriced for two pieces of fabric.

Does the job! Wash and last really well. A must have accessory for the Ergo.

Perfect for keeping straps on baby carrier clean if baby like to chew/suck on straps. Although obviously only covers straps so baby can still dribble on horizontal section on carrier.

Soft cotton pads. Easy to wash. Bought it to try for a Boba 4g carrier and fortunately it fits very well. So not only for Ergobaby. Would recommend!
