The Story of Country

Love this series of books! What a great idea just wish i thought of it!!lol but seriously, our family loves music and it is passed to us by our Dad. I was youngest of his 9 children and he made sure each one of us had our own record player, speakers, for me boom box, and all the music we were interested in. He even made washing dinner dishes fun by turning on the cabinet, before its time, radio. So just recently we lost him at his young age of 93 and my niece, his granddaughter is having her 1st child. I was looking for baby things to buy to add to my gift and maybe something that represented my Dad. I came across this new series of baby books read everyone and laughed and cried and knew my Dad had stared me to these books. They are age appropriate and pages are strong, not paper. It simplifies the history of singers, but introduces babies to some great names. I felt my Dad's approval when purchasing all four books and letting my brother know that he will be able to bond w/his 1st grandchild when sitting and reading her these books. Then later have many conversations about music young and old, but to remember never forget the great ones that blazed a path for the rest! I just know my Dad will be watching over story time at my brother's house. Its a must buy for every baby!

Well I love old country music so I bought these books to read to my grandchildren one day and plus that they talk about Garth Brooks in this book!

My entire family was raised on all era's of country. To be able to share that love with my child via book is amazing. The book is well illustrated and written. It covers all eras of country from Hank Williams JR to Carrie Underwood

I bought this for my 3 year old niece. It is an age appropriate way to introduce classic music stars to kids. The illustrations are excellent. This book was such a big hit with the adults as well. I highly recommend and I am seriously considering buying a set for myself.

Obviamente el libro en su está muy bonito. Ya había comprado esta serie porque me gusta mucho, solo que este en específico llego en pésimas condiciones y dado que era para un regalo, tuve que pedir la devolución.
