US: A Narrative History, Volume 2: Since 1865

I never used to be interested in history. Now that I am older I find myself more interested in it. Sometimes the material was a bit dry but hey, it's history. The assignments are a little involved and require a lot of though, especially the counter point assignments. Some of the links for the assignments did not work so it was really hard (or impossible) to do the assignments because they required a comparison of material from the different links. The defective links, however, did not affect the ability to read the content of the book.

My daughter rented this for her class. She loves being able to rent instead of buy...really helps her budget!

Was needed for school

awesome book for school considering its not as heavy as a textbook! I used it for my history class, it was exactly what I expected and needed.
