The BestBed Mystique air mattress is a far cry from traditional coil spring mattresses. Using exciting air technology instead of hard steel coils, the BestBed Mystique air bed cradles and cushions your body, providing more even weight distribution without the poking and prodding possible from a standard coil spring mattress. The super soft European box Pillow Top contains refluffable QuiltFlex™, a revolutionary foam that virtually eliminates the possibility of body impressions. Quiltflex is simply the best quilt foam on the planet. It creates a plush quilt top that cradles your body for a genuinely luxurious feel. It keeps the cover at it's fullest and most luxurious profile, with a deep, soft feel. In exhaustive testing, QuiltFlex retained 90 percent of its original loft, even after tests that simulated 10 years of average use! Easy to use handheld controls and a state of the art air inflation system allow each sleeper to quickly adjust the firmness of their side of the bed to the perfect comfort level, with just the touch of a button. Imagine, now couples can individually adjust each side of the bed to the exact firmness and comfort level each partner prefers. Why settle for a mattress that's too hard or too soft? It's as easy as touching a button to find the comfort level that's just right. Backed with a 25 Year Manufacturers Limited Warranty, and meeting Fire and Safety Standards for California,(TB-603 Compliant) it is truly a top-of-the-line bed!

The bed is quite comfortable, although the range of hardness adjustment is not great. The problem I have with it is that the advertised 25 year warranty is very deceptive. The 25 years only applies to the cover and foam rails. It is 100% for 5 years. After that replacements cost 65% to 90% of retail, increasing every five years. The inflator has a 20 year warranty with free replacements for 3 years and will cost 65% if retail after that. This information was included with the product. It turns out that the air chamber (mattress) also has a separate 17 year warranty. This is a free replacement for 3 years and 75% of retail cost to replace it after that. When on of the mattresses in our king size bed started leaking after 4 years I found out about that warranty form their customer service department. It would cost me $275 including shipping to replace it.The customer service person I was chatting with kept trying to tell me that it may be the O-rings on the inflator need to be replaced. I asked him how that could be when the bed still loses pressure when it is disconnected from the inflator (one of their recommended diagnostic test. He said it could be for "various reasons", which he could not explain. I'm very unhappy that the bed had problems after such a short time and the ambush warranty would not cover it. For now I am just reinflating the mattress every night before I go to bed.
