These are working for me
Recently I looked closely at my teeth and I was horrified to see I had a growing gap between my two front teeth. They are capped/crowned teeth so they used to look really nice. I do have some gum issues and I realized my teeth have been moving apart. The gap was not flattering and I recently got a small chip on the bottom of one of my front teeth. I cannot afford to fix it, (3K to replace the cap/crown!) so I was getting a nice hillbilly type of look. I could actually press my two teeth together with my hands and the gap would close. For under 7 bucks I figured, what the heck, give these a try. I am impressed! I have been wearing one band at night for three nights and in the morning the gap is gone. By the end of the day it is back, but this is only three days of using these. All my kids had braces so I know it takes time and they all need to wear their retainers into adulthood.I have had no pain, maybe since my gap was on the smaller side, or my teeth are just that loose. These really work.

Flimsy Band Dont Buy
Definitely will not buy again, iv closed my gaps with bands a few years ago and I quit doing it because my teeth didn't shift back, but after a year with no binding my little gaps are back and I thought I would try again since it did actually work for me in the past. My gaps are pretty small and these would not even fix that, they are EXTREMELY flimsy and snapped every time. If you want to use bands you need tough bands that can with stand the tension. I used my friends braces bands years ago and that's what did it, I wish I knew the exact one that she had. If your insecure about any gaps you have it is best to do it the right way, look into invisalign or braces. I decided to just get invisalign because binding your teeth is temporary and it takes way to long and you literally need to wear these bands 23/7 so they don't shift back, I was able to go about a year without binding because I literally had the bands on 24/7 for about two years. Its too stressful. If you don't have the money for braces ect. bands can and will temporarily work but these are not the right kind.

I would recommend wearing them night and day for 30 days
Yes these do close gaps!! I have been using them for a year now. When I first started using them I wasn't seeing results because I was only wearing them at night. I would recommend wearing them night and day for 30 days. This will close your gap. I had a small gap between my front teeth that I was self conscious about when I wore them night and day it closed very quickly. No one really could see that I was wearing them and it worked. After one month i stopped wearing them and the gap came back. Now I simply wear one every night to bed and the gap stays closed all day.I then went to an orthodontist to get a fitted retainer. The retainer wasn't tight enough and I saw my gap opening again so now I choose to wear the bands to bed and I see great results. My teeth were straight but i had a big gap between my teeth now I don't for just 5 bucks and consistent use

Slip sliding away
My teeth tend to be more narrow towards the gum and wider towards the ends. Because of this the bands like to 'slide' all the way into my gums which is very uncomfortable. I tried to ignore it, but my gums ended up turning super white from the band digging in and cutting off circulation. My gum, lips and/or cheek also didn't appreciate the sting when popping off from a tight fit. When I completely dry off my teeth the bands did stay a little longer; but no longer than an hour at best. I also tried keeping my teeth dry by keeping my mouth open for long periods, but this also meant always dabbing my teeth with a paper towel to help keep them dry - a loosing battle since mouths are naturally always trying to keep itself moist. Still, I'm not too fond of sitting there with my mouth gaping open looking crazy. After 10 days of constantly adjusting, replacing, I finally gave up. This didn't work for me but I think this will do fine if you have teeth that aren't narrowing towards the gums, just dry off your teeth before placing. 3 starsDelivery was super fast; included a nice informational sheet; seller was great but the bands aren't for me.

-Please read this review fully before buying these bands- I am not a licensed professional and everything I'm about to say is from my own experience. Your case will be different and I don't intend to fix anyone else's problems but my own. This is just advice. I first want to say that this is extremely dangerous. DO NOT LET THESE BANDS SLIDE UP INTO YOUR GUMS. They need to be ON YOUR TEETH or the bands will cut off the circulation to your gums and your teeth will fall out. Do not mimic the application that I did in the first picture. I only posted that one because that's the only before picture I had. I took those bands right out and applied them the way they are in the second picture because I realized they shouldn't be shifting so rapidly. You should only be doing 1-2 bands at a time on each row. Shifting your teeth too fast will damage your teeth. As an advantage for me, I have dental molding putty and a tray that I use to make impressions of the new shape of my teeth and I use the mold as a temporary retainer at night so my teeth won't be shifting too fast. In a few days I will use a new impression to make a retainer and I will have it on for about a week (when I'm at home of course) and I will not use the bands so I don't hurt my teeth. Then the next week I will go back to using the bands. As you see in the pictures, it has been improvement in both rows in 26 hours. The top row is not that noticeable in the picture. I advise taking pain relievers if you cannot handle pain because taking the bands off at night is very painful. Again, avoid your gums while wearing the bands. Please. You can buy temporary retainers from Amazon and you need to make a new one each time your teeth shift. So if you wear the bands during the day, you need to make a retainer at night. Repeat for 3-4 days, then use your most recent retainer for about a week. Then go back to wearing the bands. This is a high maintenance procedure if you don't want to pay for braces. Sorry for the essay. Be careful :)
