Even nicer up front
Gotta love Axe Heaven. I'm a casual fan of the Dead, but the guitar just looks incredible. Like others have said in reviews, if you've owned electric guitars in the past, these are fun to collect!

Probably not as painstakingly crafted as they'd like you to think
These guitars are cool items - but I'll be honest here: they're not as detailed or finely crafted as you might expect a similar scale model of a car or airplane to be. They look excellent from a distance, but up close there are many flaws, crooked buttons and knobs, or weirdly placed strings. In the case of the Tiger and Rosebud guitars specifically, the inlays at the bottom of the guitar are not, in fact, inlays but what appear to be paper computer printouts with a clear piece of plastic laid down on top - the image isn't even inlaid into the wood and so the clear plastic sits above the surface of the wood. Further more, the "protective case" is nothing more than a cardboard box and the included guitar stand seems cheap and shoddy. Was definitely expecting a somewhat higher level of craftsmanship and attention to detail based on the sort of advertising that Axe Heaven does. Definitely make an effort to track down actual photos of whatever guitar you're interested in to be sure you know what you're getting.

Poor quality control
Although this guitar is slightly better than the Les Paul I had ordered, it still has plenty of problems. Two of he machine heads are broken, the fretboard is poorly finished, and the knobs and pickups were careless slapped together. Look, I understand that this is a model. But if you are going to be in the business of reproducing guitars on a micro level , you have to play very close attention to detail.
