Tramontina Signature Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 4-Quart Sauce Pan

Very nice looking, clearly high quality. They work great with induction stoves too. Nearly perfect for a great price. Only downside is the walls of the pan are not rounded at the top they are flat, and the lid doesn't fit well when turned upside down to take up less room in the leftovers fridge :)

I purchased the Tramontina steel 4 quart cooking pot for $69.99. I really was looking for a soup pot not too big but not small either. I thought before I bought this pot it would be too big it was not it was perfect. I thought $70.00 bucks for a pot when there others cheaper but something just kept bringing me back to this pot. I bought it. Well boy am I glad I did. This pot is built with 2 handles a long on on one side and a loop handle on the other side. The construction is very strong these handle are not falling off anytime soon or getting loose. When you cook with the pot it gets hot fast and boils quickly very surprising. the long handle does not get hot but the loop handle does get warm so you have to be careful there. When the pot sits on the stove its very flat I have used it for 6 month now and the bottom does not get warped or anything uneven. You can sear garlic in oil in it but you have to be careful it gets hot that fast. This is not a not stick pot but cleaning it is very easy and I do not recall having to scrub it very hard for anything. If something should get stuck to the put You will have no problem using a still mesh cloth to clean it. I have used them and you wont scratch it. The balance of the pot too It like holding Excalibur, Like Eowyn In the Lord of the Rings slaying the Nazgul" Back foul Dwimolate lord of Carrion"..Smash..over the head with the pot..its in the book., the saying not the movie. read the book. Ok I'm starting to drift.. back to the pot. Its highly endorsed by Frodo, Gandalf, Theoden Noo! sorry drifting again. I highly recommend this pot. Seriously its worth the money. This is my best pot....My Precious. Ahhh! just buy it.

The pot is nice and thick, which means it distributes the heat quite nicely. It is hand washable and cleans up nicely. loved the first one I got so much I ordered a second one in another size. Well worth the money!

I really like my Tramontina pan, its thickness, weight and its mirror like exterior finish. I have had it for over a year and it still look brand new.

Well made, shiny like a mirror. Good heavy stainless steel pot. The handle and lid do get hot, occasionally need to use a potholder.

4qt size is perfect for my chili, gumbo, and spaghetti sauce. The tri-ply stainless clad aluminum core construction heats evenly. The pan is simply beautiful, and the solid construction should last forever. Compares favorably with my excellent All-Clad pans. Induction capable. Nice comfortable handle, and love the helper handle for full pots. Dishwasher and oven-safe up to 500 degrees. They recommend hand washing to maintain the beautiful finish. I would prefer a glass lid for stovetop cooking, but those aren’t oven safe to 500. Fortunately, I have a glass lid from my old 4qt pan that fits. Made in Brazil, lifetime warranty. I will look to Tramontina when I need to replace other size pans.
