Excellent in the FX loop
I have a Joyo Bantamp Tweedy head. It's a great sounding amp, but it has limited EQ controls and it's too loud for my apartment. I bought this Donner EQ and plugged it into the effects loop with a couple of patch cables, and ran a 9v extension cable from my daisy chain. Now I can cut frequencies on the EQ (primarily the bass range) and use the overall volume cut on the pedal to reduce the volume of my amp. It works great, and the pedal is silent. It feels well made and the switch is smooth. Absolutely worth the investment.

Great value and build quality for the price
This is my first Donner pedal after seeing these all over Amazon for years and seeing Jack White also endorse some. I always figured they were quality for the money, but this being a metal enclosure and also having a separate tap tempo really shows that off. It works exactly as it's supposed to. I really rely on the tap tempo for quickly settling into rhythms, yet didn't want to spend a lot since this was for my acoustic rig pedalboard which is extremely small in footprint. This also stood out to me for exactly that reason - it's compact and can get skinny. I stack a mini pedal directly over top of it and both fit on my board with little issue. You may have to get creative with your pedalboard "Tetris" but this is a great pedal. The tap responds nicely and I like how bright the green lights are - just wish the knobs would light up as well, they missed that chance since they are already translucent plastic. I also think the tap tempo light could be a different color to differentiate quickly, but those are my only qualms and they are minor. I used it already for a 3 hour gig and it responded professionally and accurately. Great value pedal, especially if you're into delay.

Quality pedals at a cost saver price!
I'm taking off 1 star (only half a star, if i could)...only because I wish they would have had the very top of the sliders colored white, or another bright color. That, would make it much easier to see the position of the EQ sliders. I may paint them white at the top, myself...not sure yet. As for the EQ pedal itself, it is excellent! It REALLY made my amp, sound SO much better; like day & night. I'm very happy with my tone now...& it also has much more "punch". I have it ON at all times, because of how much better my amp sounds now. I now consider my equalizer to be the most important pedal I own. It's well built; the sliders & on/off footswitch have a high quality feel to them. The footswitch is very smooth...it barely makes a sound when using it. I'm very impressed with Donner pedals. I also have their "Echo Square" delay pedal. It's excellent! I'm also impressed with the fact, that they are VERY quiet. I don't hear any hiss, etc. Quality pedals at a "cost saver" price! I plan to purchase another pedal from Donner this month; the "Mod Square 2". It has 2 Phase Shifter modes (my main reason for buying it), plus Chorus, Flanger, Wah, etc. I'm really looking forward to having that in my signal chain as well. I highly recommend Donner, & I wish I knew about them much sooner. EDIT: I added rubber caps, the Inknote brand. It has made a world of difference in how well I can see the sliders now. I believe I used the 4.5mm size...& cut some of the extra off...& SUCCESS! They were very easy to put on.

Great for synths!!
Got this pedal to use with my synthesizer setup. It’s small size let’s me Velcro it to the inside of the lid on my eurorack setup. The build is very solid. I looked inside to check the build quality of the board. Very well done! The enclosure is all metal with welded standoffs inside. The board is going nowhere. It uses large board mounted tactile switches and spring loaded footswitch mechanisms. I don’t see this as a lack of quality, it saves on soldering time and wiring should the switches ever need to be replaced. As for sound, I think it sounds great! The reverb is fairly massive. I’d say maybe it goes from small to massive in a slight turn of the knob. The reverb is slightly dark, but isn’t muddy. The tail feature is nice. It allows for fast decay of reverb tails when the effect is switched off, or long tails. The delay is digital, but not brittle. When I read that is has 2000ms I didn’t believe it. I was wrong. It is a full two seconds of delay. Or as close as I can see from the time count on my video recorder. For the price, it’s amazing that you get the tails feature AND two seconds of delay. The delay does not self oscillate, but gets almost to that point. It gets that nice metallic effect without having to ride the feedback knob. I see this as a more useful feature than self oscillation. There is no trim pot on the inside to adjust. On the fastest speed turning to the slower side there is a slight jump. If you are fidgeting with the knob for noise, it’s no problem. If trying to adjust to a lower metallic sound, then maybe. The tap tempo feature is well implemented. Hold down the switch and it engages the tap temp, hold it down to disengage. Pretty simple. I feel like the tap feature follows what you tap and you can tap down to two seconds. Or close to it. I like to use delays to “double” the time of my sequences. Analog delays tend to muddy up things at longer feedback settings. This pedal does a nice job of doing what I like. It is also great that it goes passed the one second mark without getting muddled. I have an older EHX Memoryman Plus that is dear to my heart. I’ll never get rid of it, but I can see it being put on the shelf for a while. All in all the sound is very good and the feature set is something found on more expensive pedals. If you need a great sounding delay and reverb combo that is small and at a great price...it’s kind of hard to beat this one. I will more than likely try out the other pedals in this layout. I had an Alpha Cruncher for a little while and found that is was really well built and sounded great. I just didn’t need the distortion and chorus for my setup. This pedal would also fit well on a blank eurorack panel. It’s side to side measurement is almost exactly 3u high. I didn’t measure but it looks like it hits the center of my rails almost perfectly.

Great duo-pedal at a great price.
Looking to add to the mini-pedal board and this fits the bill for the Reverb-Delay section. Donner has done a great job providing “basic” forms of each. The reverb is plate voiced (it’s all digital on both) and can get really spacey. I found the mid-setting to be a nice rich semi-hall/semi-room voicing. The delay is good and easy to hear its digital vibe. Again mid-settings on the repeats and time give a good indication of what it can do. This also features tap tempo to get you in sync with the song. Overall it’s a great baseline unit to start one on the path to effects extraordinaire. Oh - just because I said it’s basic, does not mean it can’t be a gigging pedal.

Worth the price for reverse delay and tap feature
Really cool effects pedal. Takes some experimenting. To get the true reverse delay sound you have to turn the mix(?) knob up to full. Otherwise you hear the initial note first THEN the reverse delay.

very poor customer service
works great if it is powered. but I don't think the 100ma is accurate, and I wasn't able to get a satisfactory answer from support. I tried this with a gator $90 power supply that is supposed to deliver at least 120ma per pedal but apparently it is not enough. I tried to talk to support but they claimed to not have my order number and wanted me to send a screenshot but I've had this kind of response before, they are just stonewalling and hope I give up. so f that.

Consigliato!!
