Update: I don't often update my reviews but I'm so happy with this purchase I had to edit the review after wearing this outfit out. I am part of the invisible population and when I wore this to an event I had people seeking me out to tell me how beautiful I looked...okay I'm sure it was the dress but still. I haven't had that much attention in years! Wow describes this costume. I look forward to wearing it at my next event. I am just so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dress. It is really beautiful and well made. I purchased a large. I typically wear a medium but based on other reviews I went with a large thinking it would be roomy. Either the couple of pounds I gained moved me up a size or this runs a bit small. Fortunately it fit, but just fit, as in I better take off those couple of pounds before I wear it. I'm 5'3" & 148lbs. To be honest, I'm built more like SpongeBob SquarePants so most of my weight is carried in my torso. The only thing that I gave up on was the zipper. I'm not sure what the zipper was for anyway so I decided to not force the zipper down. I just pulled the dress over my head and it was fine. I agree with other reviews that the dress is short but the tassels on the bottom help with coverage.

The dress was very pretty and was super comfortable with exception of lining of dress rising up in back so had to have people double check me. LOL It could have been a little longer. Met at lady at the gala who had same dress with same issue. The gloves did not stay up so ended taking them off and the earrings I could not use because they were rusted. The headband was a little small so when it stretched the feathers popped off so I hot glued them back on. Maybe the headband should be plus size too. But over all the pearls and dress I used and the dress washed up well on gentle cycle so its nice and clean the next time I have an event to use it at. :)

For the price you can’t go wrong with this dress. It’s so pretty and comfortable to wear. You will get many compliments. It’s very figure flattering without wearing spanx. I am 5’7” 135-140lbs I ordered a size small and it fits perfectly.

Yes, definitely follow the sizing chart measurements. I usually wear a Large and ordered XXL. Fits fine according to the chart measurements. Wasn’t sure what quality this would be, especially since a review mentioned sequins and fringe coming off the item. Mine didn’t have any issues at all with that and was indeed made well. It does have a full lining which is nice. It is very pretty and much prettier than the photos show. I ordered the pink color. Yes, all the accessories are not super expensive but they are quite nice in quality for the overall price. Better then I expected. The earrings were especially pleasantly nice. They are long, however, so I’d you have a short neck they might graze the top of your shoulders. I have an average neck and they’re fine but would touch if they were any longer. The gloves are actually pretty nice. I’m 5’ 7” and they reach up just past the elbows. The head piece is not the greatest but will do. I did notice that it is elevator and a bit tight. I don’t have an extra large head. I’ll try to stretch the elastic out a little.

Very good construction. Size is waaay off. I wear a size 16 and ordered the 2xl. Way too small. Will try the 3xl. The 3X fits ok. Front and back are the same pattern pieces. Sooo, if you have a large bust, you will need a bigger than normal size (no bust shaping) and will be loose on your hips. A very pretty dress.

I really liked this dress. It is really well made. The only issue I had was, I bought a black red gold dress and all the accessories came in silver. I will use some of them but will switch some of them out with gold.

Highly recommend, this is a very well made dress, absolutely beautiful, fits as it says. The accessories are well made, very impressed.
