Highly recommend, brought for a 14inch bike and a 20inch bike, they look great in the dark, I do find smaller tyres look better as there is enough cable to go round twice so more lights but either way I love them on both bikes, cant comment on there performance outside as these bikes are christmas pressents but so far so good

My son is 11yrs old and is an intermittent wheelchair user. He can't ride a bike but wants to be just like all the other kids, these go perfectly around his wheelchair spokes. I tied them to the rear side spokes as his spoke guard will be zip tied to the front spokes, wheelchairs are an extention of the wheelchair user and as such I think it's important he love his wheelchair and is able to personalise it the way he wants to. These help him to feel included when out with his friends. They are a little fiddely to fit and you do need to join both rubber bands together as wheelchair centre hubs are bigger than bike hubs, if you are putting a spoke guard on don't worry you can still press the button through the centre hole of the spoke guard. Just make sure button is facing to the front of the wheelchair. I did initially think one was broken but it wasn't I just unwrapped it to find out where I'd wrapped to tightly and loosened it. It's easier to put on if you wrap it while the lights are on that way you know when you've over wrapped as the lights will stop working.

These lights are excellent. Great quality, easy to install and use and easy to replace the batteries too. I got a white set for the front wheel and a pink set for the back wheel. Unfortunately the pink ones came faulty but the excellent customer services meant I had a new pink set in no time. Highly recommended. Particularly to be bright in the dark winter mornings / nights. I love them!

I bought these lights to be more visible on the roads at night, but by far the best part about them is that every time I ride at night people hurl compliments at me. Young children see me coming and say "Wooow!" or "Awesome!" Teenagers shout "SICK!" (Is that really still current slang?! Did it come back around?) or "SO F*<&ING COOL!" It's a real confidence booster. Adults tend to specify that they're referring to the bike (fine, but less amusing) and go with "Nice wheels!" or "Oooh I like you're lights!". Me too, adults, me too. UPDATE: 5 months later I still like the lights, but one set of them has become very unreliable. It isn't the batteries, I've changed those, but the lights will turn on fine and then randomly turn off while in use and not turn on again, then they sometimes come back on of their own accord later if I don't turn them off at the switch while they appear to be off.

I ordered purple, they’re more of a Bluey white with a hint of purple. They’re also not all that bright, my old ones have silicone tubing around them and are much brighter and are four years old and still brighter than these brand new ones. However, I’m not one to only look for the negatives, so although they are pretty awkward to put on and not very secure, neither bright, they do fit my large wheel and would probably fit kids bikes too (albeit the battery pack being fairly bulky) and are good for first time users, a bit on the pricey side but will do for first time users that are not used to having lights on their wheels. (My wheels are 24 inches and only just fit all the way around, the lights wouldn’t fit any bigger) I hope this review is helpful to people who are unsure of weather to purchase these particular ones or not. In summery: if your going in mud or very low visability place, probably not the ones for you, but for on roads or next to roads where there is a little more lighting, then these should be fine for you.

Firstly would like to make a point I had a accident last year where a car hit me when I was riding on a country lane and drove off, I had front and rear lights active plus I ride in high vis clothing. As such I continue to try and improve ways in which I can make myself as visible as possible and feel I am as safe as possible as my daily commute for work is done on my bike. These lights (I bought the 2 pack for both wheels) are absolutely fantastic and I love them, they are a little fiddly to install on yourself but if you have a second person available to help attach to your hub this becomes a breeze and they are simple to weave through the spokes to cover your full wheel. They are super bright and I guarantee you are making yourself many many more times visible at long distance with the light they give off. They are battery powered and they are simple to pop in but again reattaching to the hub isn't simple if you are by yourself at the time. I have used these on my wheels in glorious sunshine, torrential rain, slightly snowy and icy weather and they have never faulted so far (touch wood) They have been a great investment and I don't envisage any time I would not use these on my commuter bike going forward.

Got one red set for one wheel for my son's bike. Looked really great so decided to order another box for the other wheel. I also bought a set of green lights for a gift for his buddy. They will for sure be the talk of the town with their cool new lights. Even I as an adult find them really cool to look at. I would have loved these as a kid. The faster you go, the cooler the lights look. Like a ring of fire (red lights). I would recommend for any child. Too bad they don't make them in pink. My daughter would love those. no idea how durable since just got them and not sure how will stand the rain. Also concerned about them being stolen from his bike when he locks the bike up at camp. Might draw attention. We shall see.

We saw these lights on a bicycle in our neighborhood and I knew we had to get some for our kids. For the parents, it is nice because you can see the bicycle from far away and it gives a sense of safety for twilight and nighttime riding. For the kids, it gives them something to enjoy seeing the lights as they ride. The lights are very easy to install and the instructions are easy to understand. The hardest part of installing the lights is installing the rubber "band" around the hub. It is possible with one person but a lot easier with am extra set of hands and the 4 step instructions that come with the lights let you know that. The lights have 2 operating modes. When you hit the button once, the lights flash about once a second. When you hit the button a second time the lighter stay on without flashing. The lights are REALLY BRIGHT and fun to look at. I thought it would be nice for trick or treating during Halloween. There is a positive and a couple negatives, but the POSITIVE FAR EXCEEDS the minor negatives. Negative #1: We ordered 6 sets of lights. (2 Blue, 2 Red, 2 Green) (The 2 blue sets are not here yet so I can only offer feedback on red and green for now) The first green set would not turn on when we hit the button. After a little troubleshooting, I noticed the screw cap that holds the battery pack in was not quite seating the battery pack in place. NOT A BIG DEAL. All I needed to do was put a little ball of paper in the end cap and screw it on. PROBLEM SOLVED. NEGATIVE #2: The second set of red lights we ordered seemed to test fine. We put the batteries in and turned it on. While still wrapped up in the packaging ball, all the lights looked like they were working. When I got about halfway done installing them, I noticed one of the lines was ripped. I hit the power button and noticed only half the lights were working. I decided to try to repair the wire but it was so thin that it was impossible for me with my limited amount of tools so I just cut the line at that point and tied it off on the wheel. I was going to leave it that way but decided to reach out to the company to see if they would swap it out which leads to the POSITIVE. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! In a world of pushing phone buttons to talk to a robot that leads you to someone that many times can't help you with your issue, I can assure you that is not going to happen with these guys. I called the 1-800 number on their website and got an out of office recording. I left a message and we within 5 hours a member of their staff sent me a text message and an email with instructions on how to get a replacement. Keep in mind, I told them that it was working but only half. I offered to send it back for a swap but they told me to hang on to it and they sent me a promotion code for a new one through Amazon. I received the promotion code got the new one on order. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for adults and kids alike. It adds a big safety factor to night riding and they are fun to watch.
