Solid networking equipment at consumer-level pricing.
I.T. guy here. Ubiquiti is my go-to for prosumer and small business networking gear and these NanoBeam transceivers are no exception. These work standalone or can be integrated/managed by existing Ubiquity equipment such as the UDM Pro which I tend to buy.

Works as intended. But that's what you come to expect from Ubiquity. Solid product at an affordable price.

5 Star for the Nano Beam - 2.5 Star for the ease of installation
Once I waded through the setup process I was able to setup an access point and a station. There is a learning curve and it’s steep. There is an app available that is vital in setup. It is called UISP. It communicates with the nano beam unit for 15 minutes after power on, assisting in setup. These devices are geared towards IT professionals and comes with no instructions. Detailed written instructions are NOT available, that I could find. There are several YouTube instructions available, but some are ambiguous. There are several mobile apps available but only one or two are necessary. There is an app available that is vital in setup. It is called UISP. I am impressed with the distance and bandwidth that I have achieved. I was disappointed and frustrated with the difficulty with achieving it.

A great solution!
The units are simply the best solution to that “how to I get internet to the shop” problem. Setup is simple and you don’t need to pay for the “pre-configured” set. Start to finish took 15 minutes, went through some trees without a hitch in uneven terrain and remains great after a couple of storms and a hot summer. I highly recommend.

DON'T BUY THESE FROM AMAZON STORES, NO WARRANTY!
Absolute garbage. Within a month one of the PoE injectors died. Thankfully we still had one because the AP was being powered by a PoE switch. At the four month mark the station side started acting up. At first I thought it was due to the other PoE dying, so I bought another MikroTik PoE switch and powered up the station through that. That did no good as it was going down and not rebooting a couple times a day. The four, ten and now it won't stay on more than a few minutes at a time. When I contacted Ubiquiti about this matter, I was informed that the warranty was expired, meaning that I got a third party purchase. Sadly this happened after purchasing a second set of these for another location. I have a little over 30 years experience installing enterprise level networks. I've installed these for the last two years with fifty two enterprise installs and my own three home installs. Out of all fifty five installs, this was the only one I've had issues with and there's no warranty. I will now be making my purchases from UI directly so I know I have a warranty.

Worth every penny
Not exactly plug and play, but pretty close. Took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to set it up in bridge mode without watching a video. Performance is great, no noticeable latency even though there are trees in the way.

Description is not accurate.
There are 2 versions of this product. One with 1 Ethernet Port which uses one type of firmware. One with 2 ethernet Ports which uses another type of firmware. I ordered this unit because the vendor listed the unit had 1 Ethernet Port. The vendor shipped the unit type with the 2 ethernet ports. If you need the feature set only provided by a specific version of firmware, this is a disappointing experience.
