I bought this vapor canister purge valve solenoid for my GMC Acadia after the check engine light came on and I got a P0449 code. This part was a perfect fit and matched the original OEM exactly — installation was straightforward and took less than 30 minutes with basic tools. Once installed, the engine code cleared, and the vehicle has been running smoothly ever since. No more rough idling or fuel smell, and the check engine light hasn’t come back on. It fixed my no start when filling up with gas not have to push throttle pedal to get it to start no longer having to that . Hoping for better gas millage now

Was getting the ol engine check light. Usually after fill ups and driving around (stop and go). Months past still no more check light since install. I believe this fixed the issue. Was fairly simple to install. Just a warning use the stock bolt and just past finger tight. Otherwise that bolt will break and you can just start your crying and swearing lol.

This paper canister, purge valve solenoid was a super low cost, and there’s usually a reason for that to be the case. This was no different as I had a lot of problems with that functioning properly and ended up replacing it with OEM model. The installation is easy enough and it did fit, but it was not at all functional for my 2018 Chevy traverse premier because it didn’t resolve the problem. You normally get what you pay for and I’d suggest spending a little more for OEM part to save yourself a lot time going back to replace it again. Not a product I would recommend.

Working correctly and great price.

This replacement purge valve works perfectly. Good price. The only trouble I ran through was the replacement bolt snapped in half so not strong metal. Maybe use the original bolt. Everything fits in perfectly.

Product was easy to install and works like a charm. A lot more affordable than the name brand. Works great.

I installed this product on my 2011 GMC Acadia and it cleared the code but after 2 weeks it failed. It is a very cheap part and I'm disappointed with the results. It looks and fits perfectly but no performance at all. Thanks but no thanks. Wish I could get my money back.
