It worked very well for the purpose t was intended for
A neat method of installing a power point in a desk, table or worktop. I did not need to use the internet connection but I am sure it could be very useful.

Dangerous - nearly caused a fire
Dangerous! The socket died with a loud bang causing a short which heated the kettle lead up so much it melted, scorching the kitchen cupboard it was in and nearly setting my kitchen on fire. This is cheap rubbish and potentially dangerous - beware!!I bought this last year but only recently fitted once finishing my new kitchen. This was the first time it had been used apart from testing it after installing.I’m sure that if I hadn’t opened the cupboard to check in time, it would have caught the cabinet on fire. Everything had become very hot, the kettle lead had swollen and melted along the entire length.** Update 03/12 ** - the seller has contacted me twice offering an illegal bribe for removing the bad review. I have reported this to Amazon but they don't appear to have taken action. If you don't want bad reviews, don't sell poor quality stuff - simple.
