Darn Tough Men's Light Hiker Micro Crew Lightweight Hiking Socks (Style 1972)

I wore these in hot weather, and they keep my feet from overheating in my hiking boots. They are very comfortable and keep my feet blister free even on long hikes over rocky terrain. They show no signs of wear after long hikes. Even after a long hike in the heat, they don't hold feet odors. I would wear these socks every day.

Phenomenal socks, they work so well. Never get any blisters while wearing these socks and they are so comfortable. A little on the expensive side for one pair of socks, but well worth the price.

Darn, tough socks I bought them for my son who absolutely thinks that the greatest thing on earth. Perfect fit.

I'm not going to lie, when I bought these, I bought three for a thru hike and thought to myself, "Do I really need to be spending this much money PER sock???" The answer is a resounding yes, they are worth every penny. These socks are durable enough that I've noticed no wear and tear, and they've been with me through many backpacking and hiking trips (probably close to 200 miles at this point?). You can definitely wear these socks for multiple days in a row and not feel as if they are gross or smelly (thank you merino wool). These are lighter than other hiking socks, so they dry a lot faster than I'm used to compared to a higher wool percentage. You might find as a result that they aren't as thick or plush as you're used to in other hiking socks, but they are cushioned enough for my feet for sure. I actively advocate for these socks in my real life, so I'm bringing that to you guys too.

These socks are amazing. My advice is to buy one pair at a time until you find the correct size for your foot. The sizes and fit run different than I expected.

Darn toughs are great obviously and worth the $$, wish the sizing had a bit better overlap though. I'm about a 11-12 the large fits pretty good but I'd say it's a touch small, the XL is definitely a bit baggy but can fit. Wish they made them in normal colors too These are definitely noticeably warmer than normal cotton socks. If you're just worried about sweaty feet the ultralightweight runner ones are a better choice. Under like 70-75 these are great though. These also definitely do not dry as quick either. Unless they're in the sun or it's really dry it'll take all day. For long hikes in boots with a bag though I prefer these, have 2 pairs

Best socks for backpacking trips. Soft, comfortable, quick drying and warm/cool when needed.

Nice comfort, perfect thickness, sock moves with your foot (no roll in the sock). Going to work great for hiking. A little bit too snug at the very top of foot but I figure it will give a bit once I break them in.

The Darn Tough Hiker Socks are an amazing product—I've never had a blister, and they're my go-to socks for both hiking and daily wear. They provide great comfort, support, warmth and durability. The only downside is that they are a bit expensive, but considering the quality and performance, they're definitely worth the investment!
