The menthol helps pain go away. The spray gets all over, including your fingers and hands, so I prefer the gel. I use it after gardening, dancing and because I'm older. The gel is easy to apply to the exact area of pain. It lasts for hours. I've used this product for over 15 years and find it a marvelous product.

I usually hate to use these type of creams, for they seldom relieve pain, but I have found Biofreeze relieves my backaches. It does heat up on your skin but the heat doesn’t stay long.

The makers of Biofreeze claim that they have conducted a study that shows that 80% of those that try their new formula prefer it over other methods of pain relief. They also say that they have enhanced the formula, making it better than the first line due to over two years of research and testing. The go on to say that when you apply it it goes on quickly and easily and goes to work right away. They claim it also doubles as a skin conditioner, and that it’s non-greasy, doesn’t stain, and doesn’t stink the way some other gels and creams do. To top it all off they say that they don’t use animals in their testing, and that it’s an American made product. As far as getting the most bang for your buck, I've found that Amazon has the best prices by far, even though the biofreeze tubes are sold in packs of 3, it is worth it. You get (3) of the 3 oz. roll on biofreeze gel tubes for around $20 with Prime, when they usually cost around $10 each. What’s nice about this is that you can treat pain locally, providing an analgesic right where it hurts. This should provide more immediate relief than taking an aspirin or other pill and waiting the 20 minutes or so for it to start working. It should also leave the rest of your body and mind unaffected, so you won’t suffer from things like drowsiness or a general malaise that sometimes occurs when you take a general painkiller. Overall, since you only use this when and where you need it your commitment level is pretty low. In the end, if you are looking for a safe, non-prescription solution to get rid of painful areas quickly, then you owe it to yourself to give biofreeze a shot. Any relief from pain that you can get is worth it to me. We have been using biofreeze for years now, I'd recommend trying it at least once to see how it works for you, wish you the best!

Why this was invented sooner, I will never know! We use biofreeze often, and when I ran across thisI couldn't believe I would never have sticky hands again! This product is amazing and works as promised. It's super easy to use, just shake it a couple of time to get the ball rolling lol - literally and figuratively.

Biofeeze really is the best and these rollerballs are perfect as they are easy to use without assistance, deliver the product with a massaging application and don't leak so you can keep them in your sports bag or pocket. I do a lot of disability sports and Biofreeze is the best painrelief I know, it's great for my fibro flare ups, easing my original injuries and managing sports injuries. I couldn't cope without this product and often recomend it to friends. Don't try a cheaper alternative buy Biofreeze and feel the difference.
