This Kendir Headset is Wonderful!
I ordered this Kendir Bluetooth Headset, and it arrived in 24 hours so I paired it to my phone and started using it immediately, the compatability is perfect, and here's what I've found: It "pairs up" very easily and quickly. It is extremely light weight, and fits perfectly in the ear. The electronics and controls are excellent and easy to use. It has very crystal clear noise free sound. It's very durable, and so kight weight you hardly even know you're wearing it This is hands down the nicest head set I've ever used, and Ive owned quite a few over the years. The price is excellent too, so I will be buying more of these for my family. I highly recomend this 9ne, and I give it a solid 10 out of 10!

Nice Bluetooth Headset - Nice Price!
This is really a nice little Bluetooth headset. Comes in a nice faux leather purse-like carrier and inside, an extra ear loop and charging cable along with the headset. The ear loop is easily adjustable so it can easily be worn on either ear. Charging is fairly quick. From a completely depleted battery to full charge in an hour. Perhaps slightly longer, but not much. Two things that need improvement. Sound quality is quite tinny. Highs are emphasized and this somewhat like putting a knife in your ear...but not fatal. Previous headsets I've owned have had sound quality emphasis place on lower frequencies. Not a fan of this approach. I found that made hearing the person on the other end difficult. Too muffled for my ears. I like the higher end emphasis (treble) but it probably could improve the ear piece if it was adjusted down a bit. My second issue: When you turn the Bluetooth ear piece on you hear a female voice say "Power on!" When you turn if off (holding button on side of device for about 3 seconds) the female voice says, "Power Off" - There's never a voice saying "Connected" - the only indication you're connected and ready to make a call is a very low "clicking" sound as you touch numbers on your screen to make a call. The downside - Even if power to the ear piece is on -- but it fails to connect to your phone...for whatever reason - you would not know that -- that would likely mean you miss incoming calls. As far as I can tell, the mic must produce quality audio. No one I've talked with has said they were having trouble hearing or understanding me. A plus! Even with the two issues above, I'm satisfied enough that I'd buy it again. Thumbs up!

Great at first but a bit disappointing
I have owned at least 15 different bluetooth wireless earpieces, so I'm always looking for the one that best suits my needs. The Kendir has some very solid features, but it also has some serious issues that I may ultimately determine are deal-breakers. If you don't extensively use dictation for text messages or email, you may find that the positives outweigh the negatives. Here's my appraisal after having owned the Kendir for about 6 weeks. Things I like: 1. Very small and unobtrusive. 2. Easy to wear - I don't even notice that I have it attached to my ear. 3. Sound is very loud. This is very important to me. I wish my other wireless earbuds were as loud. 4. Battery life is as advertised. The Kendir lasts for quite a few hours before the "battery low" is heard. I only have to charge it every two or three days depending upon usage. Things I'm not as pleased with: 1. Serious dictation issues: When dictating on my iPhone 8 (iOS 13.3.1), I am not able to dictate much more than a sentence. Once I end a sentence with a period, though the audio dialogue box remain open and the sound waves continue to be expressed in the dialogue box, it stops dictating. I have done this countless times so I'm now certain this is a design flaw. (At first I thought it was an iPhone software issue but ALL of my other bluetooth devices work dictate as expected.) If I choose not to use any punctuation at the sentence's end, I am able to dictate longer content. As I mentioned, I have numerous other wireless bluetooth devices that allow for much longer dictation. In those devices, though there is a limit to the length of the content you can dictate (controlled by the the iPhone's iOS), when the dictation mode stops, the dialogue box also closes. In the Kendir device I have to manually tap to close the dialogue box once it stops dictating into text, and then have to open it again multiple times if a text message is longer than a sentence or two. This is terribly annoying. I end up completely turning off my Kendir if I want to dictate because it's not worth the hassle. Since I use the dictation feature a great deal, this issue may override all of the positives. 2. Loss of Bluetooth connectivity: With my iPhone in my hand or in my pocket, I often get verbal notifications that the Kendir has "disconnected" and then almost immediately it will say "connected". This just happened as I was typing this review. Why it loses sync when the iPhone is so close is a mystery. Sometimes this will happen 5 or 6 times in the course of a few minutes and then it might be quite a few hours until this happens again. I really want to like this Kendir since the the positives are so strong, but ultimately I may discontinue usage if dictation doesn't improve and if it doesn't stop constantly losing sync with my iPhone. Great potential, especially for such an incredibly low price-tag, but I'm still hoping my experience improves. If anyone has experience with the dictation issues, please let me know. Especially if there's a solution. Thanks! Addendum after a few months of usage [5-12-2020]: The dictation issue has made this headset almost unusable. I can only dictate a sentence at the time. Once I pause for a second or two or I end a sentence with a period, though I resume talking (the iPhone screen wave representation appears to be tracking my voice) it does not dictate anything. And that happens even when I am in the car using the car stereo system (when the Kendir is still on). Initially, I thought perhaps it may have been an iOS issue but after a few more iterations of the iOS (currently 13.4.1), there has been no change. This is the ONLY Bluetooth device I own (and I have 8-10 others) that has dictation issues. Also, too often I get a disconnected and reconnected voice message when I am well within range (a foot or two) of my iPhone. Sometimes I will get this message 3 or 4 times within a span of a couple of minutes. This is incredibly annoying. I still don't understand why more people aren't experiencing these issues and why the ratings remain high. I am going to downgrade to 3 stars. The only reason for not lowering it to 2 stars is because of the obvious positive attributes I noted in my first review. So,

This is a GREAT wireless headset
First off, the instructions were well-written. Not like those for another wireless headset I bought a week earlier and had to return because it wouldn't pair with my phone and the instructions might as well have been in sanskrit - useless! But this headset is everything I hoped for. It's an elegant design, well-made, excellent sound, works as advertised and paired with my phone right away. I can't imagine you would find one much better at double the price. The above was written right after I received the headset in Early June. At that time I hadn't had it long enough to evaluate the battery life. It's now 2 and 1/2 months later and I can say that the battery life is excellent. I use the headset a lot both with my cellphone and laptop when I don't want the sound to disturb anyone. The battery lasts well over a week before the lovely lady announces in your ear that you need to recharge. Recharging takes no time at all. Plug it in to the charger and a red light appears. When the light goes out you're fully charged. So I will repeat my initial opinion. GREAT HEADSET at any price but OUTSTANDING at the price I paid. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! UPDATE September 2021 A month ago the headset wouldn't charge. Try as I might it wouldn't charge. So, I bought another one. When that one wouldn't charge I finally realized the problem wasn't with the Kendir - it was with the charger. DUH! I should have tried harder to charge it. Just thought I should fess up and caution users to check if a charger or cord is bad before blaming the headset. I still STRONLY RECOMMEND this product.

Comfortable device with good features
The headset is comfortable. It arrives with 7 different pads to fit any ear shape. The over the ear clip is light and does not pinch. The headset also comes with a small carrying case, good for storage. Phone calls are clear at a decent volume.

Very good over the ear headphone
I've had this unit in full operation about 2weeks now w/ zero complaints of issue. Shipping and receiving from Mfg/Amazon was is always excellent. Buy price to product quality ratio is unbeatable. Initial startup and pairing flawless with my S22 Ultra phone. Battery life is excellent. All identified functions work as described by Kendir. Excellent sound (mono) quality. Voice prompts /notifications are good. Bluetooth range is good on par with industry standards. Physical controls are easy access. Fitment is comfortable for all day wearable and lightweight . (described in more detail below) Usage with Bixby and Google voice/navigation is great. My story/experience: I wear eyeglasses and work construction . Constantly using my hands . I wear AN OVER THE EAR HEADSET/HEADPHONE for very specific reasons: 1-handsfree 2- the selection of headset MUST have voice prompt "out of range " "disconnected" NOT just a beep/ding. which Kendir does provide(5star) this is my warning/ protection from driving off the jobsite and losing my phone. 3-Headset must be comfortable for all day usage and secure at all times under all conditions (maybe not swimming).(5star) 4- Ear hook must be thin and flexible to accomodate sharing space with eyeglasses. (5star). I have worn headsets +20 years and many varieties when Plantronics stopped carrying the M50 model I thought I was doomed. Kendir K1 came thru and I would highly recommend to others with similar requirements.

Buy it with closed eyes, if you want a good, yet afford-a-price-tag headset.
Not only the product is qualitative and with good Value-for-Money but it is the first time after MANY years I'm receiving a product in REAL beautiful PACKING and with a REAL decent glossy MANUAL (bonus the relatively correct English syntax...), far different than the "cheapy Chinesy" stuff we've been accepted/accustomed ourselves to get from Sellers and Manufacturers all this time. I bought it after rejecting/returning half a dozen of other similar ones (sorry Amazon and Thanks for your patience and prompt refunds), which didn't satisfy me, having worked for years with my previous Plantron...cs and Motoro...a Boom2+, which delivered the spirit and are discontinued already, so I was looking for something "equivalent". Audibility-wise is EXCELLENT, Loud and Crystal-Clear, equal or even a Click better than my afore-mentioned Plantron...cs and Motor...la Boo...2+. The ones who criticize that it lacks Noise Reduction are correct. But we are speaking for really shouting crowd surrounding the speaking person or very loud music in the car etc. Only then it becomes a problem, overlapping my voice to the listener at the other end. Situations when you don't attempt a call typically, going "out" to speak or lowering/pausing the music, correspondingly. Its BT range is VERY GOOD, maintaining the connection stable in longer distances (and zic-zac-rooms-topology) than my previous "good' Brands. Happy with the purchase. I got a 2nd (luckily the Grey, with more discrete colors, this time...), as hot spare. Again: Buy it with closed eyes, if you want a good, yet afford-a-price-tag headset.

Better than most!
I have tried several of these ear pieces including both cheaper and more expensive brands. Bottom line, this one is better than most BUT. From my point of view, it is reasonably comfortable and the audio quality is decent. I would not mind if it was a bit luder for noisy situations but works fine for the most part. From other people's perspective, I get too many complaints that I am hard to hear and occasionaly, I get some distortion. So, not great but good value for money.
