MuchCORD Charging Cable

I'm going to give this 5 stars even though it required some modification for my PC-V1000BPlus II because this wasn't listed anywhere as compatible. I figured because the ports lined up, I'd be good but it turned out the depth is much deeper than the front panel that came with the case, and the internal baffle/panels weren't designed to accommodate this. Specifically, the "notch" isn't wide enough.Thankfully, because it's all just aluminum in there, this was easily remedied with some dremel work to expand the space to allow this to fit in. I did have to temporarily remove the HDD cage in my case in order to get better angles with the dremel, but this isn't a big deal.Other than that, the cables are awfully short at 50cm. My case is average sized at best, but because of the motherboard orientation of this particular case (inverted) none of the cables were even close to long though to making it to their destination. Because of this, I had to go out and spend another $20 in extension cables to accommodate (HD Audio/USB3.0). Again, not docking a star because the unique orientation probably contributes to this "issue" and again, not listed as compatible.I did not plug in the firewire port as there's nowhere to plug it into on my motherboard, it's a dead technology, and I don't have anything that'd use it anyway.Just thought this might help someone hoping to get more life out of their case by giving it USB3.0 abilities up front and the HD Audio 3.5mm jack.

Fits a Lancool PC-K7B (which it isn't advertised as fitting) however you lose a 5.25 inch bay because the cables go down rather than right angle and the front audio isn't long enough to reach the header on my Asus Z97 Sabertooth board (and probably wouldn't be long enough for most boards). Still, I never used front audio I don't care for having a fancy new case (it's hidden behind my desk and a layer of dust afterall), I just want something that does the job, and upgrading just to get USB 3.0 didn't make sense to me because this is so much cheaper.

I bought a Lian Li PC 60B Plus II case years ago, recently I upgraded an old motherboard with AC'97 and USB 2.0 headers to a new one with HD Audio and USB 3.0 headers, this upgrade gave more years to the case while being aesthetically pleasing as I didn't need to get a pimp-your-case front bay with USB 3.0 ports and was able to keep using the intended space for that.

I bought this assembly to replace the USB 2.0 ports on the side of my PC. The only problem is that the cables run from the back of the assembly and not from the side, as on the old one. In order to properly install it I enlarged one of the cooling slots on the grid hidden by the front panel so that I could route the cables without kinking them. Otherwise, this was a plug-in job and fit the bill perfectly,

Good upgrade for my LIAN LI PC-201B. For cases such as mine, because the cables come out straight instead of at a right angle, you lose on 5.25" bay. The cables are also adequate, but shorter than the original. Overall good, especially as it's not advertised as compatible with my case.

I was happy to come across this upgrade to my nine year old Lian Li case. Bootable USB drives are common today, so it's handy to have USB3 right in the front where it's easy to use.

The ports line up properly for an old Lian-Li PC-V1100 case. It isn't on the supported list because the mounting is different, but with some modifications I was able to make it work.

Had to modify my case some in order to use it, but does what I needed it to do.
