9xmarine offers inexpensive solution for your lost or damaged boat name plates or insignia decals/stickers. We use 3D design technique to improve the original design features, using inkjet print on water-proof vinyl. IMPORTANT NOTE: The name plate replica above is a FLAT VINYL DECAL/STICKER and must be cut-out to be used. Above decal/sticker is printed using a water-proof vinyl sheet, backed by a permanent adhesive. The ink used is UV resistant DYE. After ink drying, we use a 300F hot .5 mil. thick laminate glossy film to protect the decal's/sticker's surface. We use two types of lamination film. One for above water and one for below the water line, like the stern drive application and engine compartments. The below water line laminate is just as glossy but extremely rugged and requires a cold application on to the surface of the decal/sticker. All decals/stickers purchased from us for above water line applications should not be waxed or polished. The decal/sticker will sustain its color and gloss finish for years to come when installed on the flat cleaned surface.
