Love my drawer microwave
Works great!! Looks good and nice not having it on the countertop or over the stove.

Sleek and beautiful
This was the first drawer type microwave I had ever seen or bought when we remodeled our kitchen. It is beautiful, pretty easy to use, great quality, quiet, good size capacity. The only thing I didn't realize when I got it is that food is not revolving. You cannot use a revolving plate, so you have to turn food at times. I would buy it again.

Great under-counter microwave, scratches easily
We’ve been using this microwave for over a year now. It’s beautiful to look at, easy to use and clean, and very accessible. We bought the black stainless model to match some of our other kitchen appliances. While beautiful to look at, the film used to give it the black stainless look does scratch pretty easily. It’s a shame this film wasn’t more durable or, at least, easily repaired. While the microwave has plenty of power to heat foods, it is slightly underpowered compared to some of the newer countertop microwaves and requires you to add a little more time to heating up meals than what the instructions on the meal box might say. This microwave is closer to the 900-950w range while most meals nowadays are expecting 1000-1100w. At worst, it adds about 30-60 to cooking times. It’s not bad, just something to plan for. Food does cook pretty evenly and we haven’t run into issues of burning food. The input keypad is easy to read and use. However, the extra steps needed to use some of the specialty keys (like beverage reheating), require you to look at the label below the keypad that is hidden behind the door. So you need to be able to read it before closing the door and, already being an under counter microwave, you have to bend down to be able to see it. It’s like they took a setup intended for counter height and left it alone instead of tailoring it to work for under counters. Again, not a deal breaker but it would have made the experience even better. The accessibility is top notch. That was the main reason for us buying it. We didn’t want another microwave eating up countertop space, so we originally looked at above the stove microwaves. However, with the wife being disabled and a little one using the microwave, the dangers of have to reach over your head to grab hot and potentially heavy objects was not going to work for us. Being under the countertop makes it much easier and safer to remove hot and heavy dishes from. After being spoiled now with an under counter microwave, I can’t see having it any other way.

Everything we hoped it would be!
We replaced a low-end microwave that died with this one. Our previous microwave sat in a built-in slot under a cabinet by the sink. Fortunately, this Sharp fit in that cabinet. Otherwise, installation would have required a professional carpenter. While the microwave fit in the space, the shelf the old one sat on had to be lowered, and also have additional supports installed. Drawer microwaves are much heavier than regular ones. These were the only modifications I had to make. This drawer microwave works like a charm. We couldn’t be happier. It cooks much quicker than the old microwave. One key feature that was a requirement for us was to have the control panel flip out rather than just being on the front like most microwaves. With a flip out control panel, you don’t have to bend or stoop to work the controls; just look down. This is huge for anyone with back or knee problems. As far as I can tell, only Sharp and Bosch drawer microwaves have this feature.

Avoid this like the plague
This is, bar none, the worst appliance I have ever owned. First time I bought it, it was never shipped and I had to wait 3-5 days to get a refund. I ordered it again and it got here. Installed it, 2 days later it would not stay closed. Called for a warranty repair and they sent a local person out with the redesigned latches that are longer than the original which fixed that problem. Today 3-23-23 the touchpad no longer works. I turned off power just to see if it would work again, nothing. So I now have another 1500 dollar paper weight. Do not, under any circumstances, ever purchase this product. It will cost you more time and money than it has good features.

Great addition to modern kitchen!
Very simple install w electrical cord w plug coming out the upper left corner as looking at it from front) of back of microwave. Other than plugging it in, there were only 4 screws to hold it in. Functional very well with a reheat function that works off a sensor. I have used it for more than a dozen different items and it comes out perfect every time. Have only had this a couple weeks - but so far it has been a great addition to my kitchen remodel. After seeing my elderly parents struggle w removing hot items from their microwave above the stove. I wanted something better while remodeling my kitchen. Runs very quietly and I am very satisfied with my purchase. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Surprising Customer Service
Tanner Appliance went beyond the call of duty to resolve a problem with a damaged microwave. Technically it was not their problem. However, Ben was courteous, contacted Sharp and fixed the issue. Nowadays it's hard to find this kind of customer service after the sale is completed and beyond the 30 day return policy. Thank you Ben. I don't have the microwave installed yet so I can't leave a product review at this time. I previously had a Sharp drawer microwave that lasted 12 years before we moved and as far as I know, it's still running.
