Great travel pillow: my #1 now.
I needed another travel pillow like a hole in the head, but I'm so glad I ordered this one! The design is quite unique from other pillows, and really works to support your head and neck. Although I haven't taken it on a flight yet, I've been experimenting with it while watching tv, and it's so comfortable that I've fallen asleep through some action-packed movies. The cover (washable!) is super soft and velour-y, and the whole thing blows up and deflates easily and quickly. When deflated and rolled up in its bag, it's lightweight and quite small. It seems like some of the airlines are cracking down on having stuff hanging from your carry-on or personal item (pillows, blankets, etc.), so I'm happy this could fit in a small corner of my carry-on if needed. I ordered it with the hood: it's okay, but I haven't figured out how it's supposed to snap onto the pillow while using it, and, do I really need it? Not sure I'd recommend spending the extra $ for it, but the pillow itself is fabulous!

This one is my choice
I ordered 5 different neck pillows to try out before a 10 hour flight coming up. This one wins my money. PRO'S: It has good support as i lean my head (just a little) to the side. I like that it has a hood in case it is too cold on the plane. The back of the neck is small so it doesn't push my head forward when sitting in my chair (against the wall to simulate an airplane seat). The cover does come off so I can wash it (or sew it!). I like that it is blow up so that it won't take up much room in my tote when I fly. The material is very soft. It's easy to get the air out and put back in the bag. Not quite CONS: It does not have chin support, but I can turn it slightly so that it's under my chin and it's perfect. I don't LOVE the fastener, although it feels sturdier than the slide fasteners on some other pillows (some pillows are connected by a small cord that does NOT have reinforced stitching holding it in the pillow). The attachment on this pillow is a 5/8" wide strip (good) of the same fabric with velcro. I prefer a snug fit and this one can go snug except it feels like the velcro will let go. (Although it hasn't yet). (I will sew an insertable clip like a couple of other travel pillows have with a wide strip - just because I love those attachments most, I am picky - and .... I can sew). TIP: When removing the cover - be careful the material doesn't come loose from the little black rim, glued to the circle hole in the fabric which gives it a clean edge to encircle the valve, while detaching it from the blow-up part. Mine did, but it still attaches ok - just don't want to do this over and over. A potential problem: I don't like that if the inside bladder gets a hole, I will not have a pillow on my trip, but I will take some "Gorilla" tape to solve that problem. I got sick recently and needed to sleep sitting up; I used this pillow and it worked like a charm. (except for my hot flashes!). Also, was reading in bed and as I like to lay on my side, this pillow helped me lay on my side to read! A bonus! There are 3 that I liked, but this one seemed to make the most sense for me and I chose it. I haven't used the eye cover or the earplugs yet. The eye mask has a velcro strip about 3-4 inches long to adjust. I have used this pillow, taken all the air out and folded it back up, with the hoodie and packed it easily into the included storage bag. There is a little pocket for the earplugs and eyemask sewn into the side of the storage bag. Explanation for the pictures: 1. The blow-up bladder without the cover on. 2. The cover without the bladder installed. 3. I am putting the bladder back into the cover and reattaching the blow-up valve into the cover. 4. The eye mask with the two straps (which are elastic) showing the velcro. 5. The eye mask velcro fastened. 6. The eye mask with convex contour to keep from smashing your eyelids (my pic made the finish look rippled - it's actually just gray and spongy and not ripply - not sure why that affect was on my pic?). 7. The hoodie, folded in half. 8. I am putting the eyemask into the special pocket for the mask and earplugs. 9. This is after I folded everything up and put it back into the bag. I put a pair of scissors and a ruler beside it to give you perspective of it's size.

Very Soft. Comfortable. Wish it Packed Down a Bit Smaller.
I bought this for a trip overseas and it was very soft and did its job. It helped me sleep better. The hood is a nice touch, and the feel of the fabric is not a creepy velvet knockoff as I feared. It really does feel soft and cozy. I wish it packed down a little bit smaller. It takes up a lot of space in your luggage. And ultimately, no neck pillow can make you truly comfortable sleeping in an upright position. But this is as good of a neck pillow as I've had. I tried the Trtl one and it just didn't work for me. This one is more versatile; I was happy that it was inflatable, which meant I didn't have to blow it up all the way and could keep it softer. It's a solid choice for long flights.

Adjustable cushion levels because it’s deflatable. Perfect travel companion!
THE BEST travel companion ever. The sleeping mask is AMAZING. So comfortable, blacks out light. I cant travel without it. It’s the eye mask alongside the neck pillow that actually puts me to sleep on the plane. For those who are saying the neck pillow’s too big, they’re using it wrong. The pillow is made up of air. Simply deflate it to get to your desired cushion thickness and it’s the best travel companion you could ever ask for. I travel internationally every few months and I always need this neck pillow, eye mask and the other accessories (earplugs and hoodie) with me. It really puts me to sleep. I love how super compact it is when it’s deflated so it barely takes up room in my carry on, and comes with a pouch with pockets for the accessories. Again, the neck pillow is not big. Simply release a bit of air to achieve your desired cushion thickness and now you have a versatile neck pillow that can be adjusted for different cushion levels. Paired with actual great accessories.

For the price, why not!??!
I should probably wait until after my trip to write this review, but I'm pretty excited with the quality of this so far. I've tried numerous other types of pillows, and this one is now at the top of my list. Why? 1. It blew up in 3 seconds. 2. The material is so soft and comfortable. 3. You can use it in a variety of ways, my photo shows my preferred way because it stops head drop and side to side sway. 4. The great price. 5. It deflates and fits so well into the pocket of my carry-on bag (I don't roll it up & put it back into the little bag, I fold it in half and lay it flat. 6. It comes with earplugs and a mask (though the mask in my photo is NOT the one what was included). I will be jumping on a Transatlantic flight in 4 days so I'm hoping I'll finally be able to get some sleep.

Better travel pillow than the flat sided type, but not always functional
I was really excited about using this pillow on a 12 hour flight (both ways) on my vacation in September. There were some great things about it, and a couple things that were disappointing. I was going to try to return it and try to replace it with the same seller, but when I went to my account, it showed that I was 4 days past my return window. These are my feelings about the pillow: Pros: Compact and easy to roll up, nice travel bag, great eye mask included, soft material, easy to blow up, easy to deflate Cons: The little "door" on the inflation port would open while I was sleeping and I'd wake up with a deflated pillow. It defeated the purpose of using a neck pillow. The adjuster with snap on the front of the pillow was too big for me and I had to tie the two pieces together to make the pillow tight enough. I'm slim and have a slender neck. More adjustability would be nice. The taller sides were a definite improvement over typical travel pillows, but since the pillow was not as snug as I needed, they still allowed my neck to droop to the sides a little. Final conclusion: If there were a smaller or more adjustable option for smaller framed people, and if they could make a "locking" flap for the inflation port, this would probably be a 5 star item.

Finally the Best of the Best Travel Pillows!
If you travel once or multiple times a year, like I do, or need to sleep upright due to medical or surgery event and are looking for the perfect pillow; then look no more! I have tried them all and by far and feel I finally found the best of the best! Looking for a gift for someone who travels? It makes the perfect gift and if you know of someone having surgery who will need to sleep in a recliner during recovery, they will be forever grateful for the get well gift (and it's much cheaper than flowers, lol)! If you are looking at travel pillows, you probably have the same questions that I had when I was searching, so here's what I found with this product. What are the accessories included besides the travel pillow and are they useful? Yes! First you have a detachable hood with a draw string. Unattached from the pillow it allows you the choice to use it or not. When in use, combined with the eye mask, you will be able to sleep even during daylight as the hood comes down over your forehead and can cover the eye mask entirely, depending upon how you adjust it. If you get cold on the plane easily, the hood allows you to keep warm as air doesn't blow on the top of your head, but around it. When not in use, I lay it flat up against the back my seat on the head rest (I try to distance myself from lice and germs on a plane-you just never know) as it is fully washable. The eye mask...believe me you will use it! This eye mask is non binding, comfortable and the greatest part- it doesn't sit flat on your eyes! It is an extremely soft semi molded mask with a comfortable band. It doesn't make you sweat and serves as a wonderful blackout even during daylight. I have even washed this and it's held up well. Finally the 2 sets of ear plugs, which are a gem when you really need them. Recently I was on a plane and the engines were so loud it was actually painful. I was grateful when I remembered the small box containing the 4 ear plugs in the storage bag. They were soft, comfortable and did the trick. Also the storage bag, not only contains the hood, eye mask, ear plugs, and the travel pillow so everything is contained in a small compact size (about two fists put together). What about the travel pillow itself, is it better to inflate it yourself or buy one with a manual inflation button? For all those worried about having to blow it up, don't worry! I cannot blow up a balloon, but 3 small breaths my pillow is all set! What I love the most is you can adjust the firmness. I keep mine about 90% full and it stays full the entire trip, no leakage! When deflating I just use a wipe around the valve and by pressing on it deflates it in seconds. Then since it is fully washable (remove the cover from inner tube), it is germ free! So the manual air pump pillow style, is not the answer. Think about it, if the hand pump inside the pillow malfunctioned, you'd be without comfort! Is the travel pillow comfortable at home? Ok, so I've tried them all. This is the best pillow ever as it can be used for travel and home. I used this pillow when I had surgery and had to sleep upright. It was a nightmare to try to adjust pillows, prop myself up, etc. until I used this pillow. I put myself in a recliner used the pillow with the flat side against the recliner. This allowed me to sleep upright without my head falling forward or to the side. Finally sleep! When traveling I've used it this way and also turned it around so the back is in the front (usually when I am in an exit row seat that doesn't recline). Most comfortable pillow ever. So stop thinking and just buy it!

Pretty solid choice
After my last 6 hour flight with no pillow and dealing with a stiff neck and shoulders I wanted to invest in a travel pillow. Had a few options but chose this pillow. I like to wear ponytail and the shape of this pillow makes it comfortable to put hair between the sides. The blue velvet is soft and cozy. Pillow inflated with 4 big puffs to my liking. I gear tested on a dining room chair before my next flight. I’ll update my review after the next long haul flight. Sitting on a high back chair, I tested the pillow in 2 options and with the hood. I felt support of my head and neck as I relaxed and laid my head from side to side. As others stated, Velcro strap if you have a small neck can be tied to tighten. Hood is a great bonus and goes well over my head. Seems sturdy, deflates easily and stuffs nicely back in the sack. Lightweight good for travel or sitting and you need neck support.

Must have for travelling, best thing I have ever bought.
Travelled from Canada to Brazil and back over Christmas with over 4 days of travelling and 8 flights, some short, some long, but, this travel pillow was absolutely amazing. I used it as a pillow, but also as lumbar support. It inflates very easily and you can easily let air out to get exactly the comfort you want. The ear plugs are surprisingly effective and the face mask is soft and comfortable. My only complaint about this purchase is the plastic container for the ear plugs as it broke easily. It would be nice to have a small mesh bag or something for the ear plugs instead of the container. I would definitely recommend and buy again myself if needed.

Saludos!

Most comfortable inflatable neck pillow for travelling I have owned
This is the most comfortable inflatable travel pillow I have owned. It gives great support in different positions as you can use it in different ways. It is not too bulky on the back, so that your head leans forward as the pillow pushes against the seat, which I found is the biggest problem with travel pillows. The pillow cover is very comfortable. The pillow is easy inflatable and comes in a nice pouch, so everything can be stored compactly together after use. So it also saves space in your travel luggage. That's also the reason why I don't buy sturdy once, as you only use them a fraction of your holiday and then you have to carry them around all the time. The product comes also with a complimentary eye mask and earplugs. The only downside is that the pillow has a strong rubber smell at the beginning. So I put it outside for sometime for ventilation and it got much better. So overall, a great and very useful purchase. Let's see how long it lasts?

Excellent!
This pillow is IT! It is the perfect design for sleeping on a long flight and so easy to inflate and deflate. I used this on our 9 hour flight and it made seeping on a plane much easier. Ordering one for my husband now!

Works well
I've just used this on two 11 hour flights. It isn't absolutely perfect, but I don't think perfection exists. I found it to be really good and would buy again. I think it deserves 5 stars. You also get earplugs with it, which I did use and an eye mask, which I didn't. I accidentally left the elastic of the eye mask outside the pouch, and with the drawstring closed, it was a handy loop for attaching to the outside of your luggage when you board. It doesn't push your head away from the seat back like some of these pillows do. You can tweak the inflation for your needs. I am a small female and found it quite comfy even if it looks a little silly.
