Can someone post a link to any firmware updates available please? I want to try that before I return it as defective.

There are firmware updates available, please write to the seller. The only problem is, that I didn't hear of them, for more than two weeks by now. I guess this is because of the Corona Virus (the company is located in China).

Does this camera have cruise function? If yes, how to set it up?

You can have preset locations and move the camera manually (by entering 1 to 255 and press play on the camera's webpage) or you can use the free monitoring software the manufacturer is offering, to move the camera automatically.
