Nice for removing grout
I used mine with a Makita 18v multi tool to remove some breaking grout from my bathroom floor. This video is my first time using the machine and the blades. I only did a small area to start with and used little to no pressure on the old grout, letting the tool do the work. Once a groove is started in the grout line, the tool just follows. The tiles are porcelain so are not easily damaged during this process. There was no visible wear on the blade, but I have four of them in any case. It’s a big bathroom so I’m doing it over a few days to save my old knees and back! The dust was removed using an “Xtra Hand” vacuum attachment in a Henry vacuum in case you wondered. The blades fitted the Makita without the need for any adapters and they seem decent quality.

Easy to use with good results
Does exactly what it's designed for, much easier than doing the job by hand

Great for cutting plaster
I bought this set to cut along the edge of a lath and plaster ceiling. I found the boot-shaped blades worked best because they can cut deeper. In terms of strength and longevity, I used one blade to cut about 7 metres in total, and after that it was showing signs of wear, and I had to turn it round and cut using the less worn edge. So these are a fine for occasional use and are good value. These type of blade are ideal for plaster ceilings because whilst they go through plaster easily, they stop cutting when they hit wood, so the laths and ceiling joists are left undamaged.

Perfect for cutting through tile grout.

Excellent value for money.
Purchased this set to cut out grout on existing tiled floor and to trim/tidy edges on replacement cut tiles. One 'cutter' lasted whole job. Why pay more for 'Branded' products?

Basic, requires a lot of effort and patience, not for me.
Not as effective as I would have expected, struggled trying to cut grout so I was a little disappointed.

Good for de-grouting or even just removing the cruddy surface portion of grout lines. Take out enough old grout to provide a good surface for an epoxy grout to secure to and enjoy the wonders of modern building technology. Epoxies still require cleaning, but it's easier and they don't stain like old grouts. These blades will, of course, remove failing/cracking grout between tiles for more thorough work.

Muy prácticos

Las hojas semicirculares están muy chicas, lo que limita mucho la profundidad de los cortes, o bien me obliga a pegar mucho la máquina a los muros, o a la superficie de corte.

I was a bit messy with tile and allowed thinset to build up where the tile leveling system clips were. I used this to cut the thinset out from between the tiles before grouting. These cut through the plastic leveling clips as well. For less than the cost of one grout blade at the local hardware store I got four blades. Over 200 sq ft of tile I used one blade until it was completely used up. Then I used another blade for the remaining ~50 sq ft of grout lines. Great value.

Picked up these blades for my Ryobi multi-tool. Fit was perfect. The blades are described as "diamond", but I'm not sure that's the real situation. Nevertheless, used these to cut out some tile and grout during a bathroom rehab job. They work, but slowly. I expected a more aggressive cut based on the videos, but that didn't happen. However, with a little patience, the tools worked fine. I did see more wear on the blades than should have existed for "diamond" blades, given the limited use of them, but they did work. For the price, they were worth the purchase.
